Bed Vs Recliner - can't lay down?
Laying down causes problems, I sleep in recliner - whats that all about and How about YOU?
Date: 12/24/2018 9:04:23 AM ( 6 y ) ... viewed 1703 times I know a few people with chronic health conditions who prefer to sleep in their recliner instead of bed.
They mostly 'found it more comfortable';
"Because bed is intolerable" - that is my reason for sleeping in my recliner.
Other people's beds don't seem as bad for the mental torrtures that I experience in my bed. It wasn't always that way though - I slept there in that bed for 8 years and then this stuff started happening. It could be a long story, so suffice to say that now I lay down, hear myself breathing, fall asleep and wake up DISTUIRBED within about 10 minutes. I try again without getting up or anything, just put it out of my mind I want to sleep.
10 minutes later I am waking up again, this time with a mild headache and DISTURBED.
Dreams, I assume, are what disturbs me, but what in hells backyard, and I might not be far wrong on that, am I dreaming that is so disturbing? I finally had an idea last night what it could be, but in any case here is what it is like: "dreaming of mundane life, sitting arouind, people talking, na na na" - and that is all I can REMEMBER but what is happening, over and over, is that someone comes into the house and shoots me in the back of the head. Boom, done. Of course I would not know what hit me, and killed me.
So then I wake up, confused, and this morning my legs were absoltely RUBBERY, I could barely walk when I got it, and then a headache hit after I stood up.
I will always get leg cramps if nothing else wakes me up, the cramps hit at about 20 mimutes in bed, but just rarely in the recliner.
Obvioously a mental health issue, but the physical problem of laying down in bed - others here might sleep in recliners? Yes I had my bed tikted enough to slide out the end, and I do have reflux and my colon is not well - all those could be worse when laying down - do you think?
Any comment would be appreciated.
