Day 4 Water Fast
Day 4 of my waterfast. Bipolar mania is gone. No depression.lots of detox symptoms but lots of motivation also !

Napped hard at 5 pm and awoke to terrible mouth taste/ feel I've had from the start but more intense. Oil pulled twice yesterday and will continue to do so. Maybe even thrice. By 10:30 the foggy, sandy headedness was tighter; even into my eyes. Wasn't sure if I'd be able to sleep but sleep I did! Right through the night. Sweet, dreamless slumber. Lower back was very painful by bedtime. Rubbed some ozonated olive oil into it. Fantastic product! But i fear I've got a long healing time ahead of me and no easy way around the discomfort of healing via fasting or otherwise. This morning I feel good, hopeful, despite lower energy and sandy head.
Yesterday i had a crisis as I was putting on makeup for the second day in a row! My face was so red and flaky and dry. So I'm taking BullDancers advice from her thread " The Cure for Seborrheic Dermatitis". I already do not use commercial soap products that aren't "clean" (Sodium Lauryl sulfate, parabens, EDTA etc) but I've only tried using salt when I include it in a yogurt, Manuka honey mask. She says to use it for daily treatment. Dead Sea Salt. Mallassezia yeast, BullDancer asserts, is the cause of this type of dermatitis and it feeds off oils. So I'm trying abstain from moisturizers and salt kills it. But yesterday, it was my very terrible Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen that saved my "look". At any rate, this fast will most certainly cause more than one healing crises for my face. The dead sea salt really does work. It calms the redness down immediately but I still have much healing and detox to go through to clear up my Rosacea. Looking forward to fresh pink skin at the end of my fast.
Today my plan involves: spending time with friends this morning. Not a food centric group or activity. Take a few edifying photos of nature. Walk. Pray. Meditate. Study. Call a friend. Work on a puzzle but not so long my back is stressed. Make a food plan for husband for next week. Go shopping. Epsom Salt soak and facial with Manuka honey, Dead Sea Salt and yogurt.
