A new way to be introduced to people is firstly to look at their Human Design and work toward understanding that before making any judgements about the individual.

February 24, 2018 - Current Sun Transit at 37th Hexagram -
Today the Sun entered Hexagram Gate 37 - the Solar Plexus gate within "The Channel of Community" - one of the primary definitions in my Human Design.
"... Gate 37 is the most communal gate in the BodyGraph. When others recognize our power, we can hold both a family and a community together with our warmth, friendliness and nurturing nature. We have an ability to make an emotional connection with others through touch, and an uncommon sensitivity, which senses their accessibility or openness to us. People will want us to be their organization's representative, and to welcome the newcomer or stranger. It is an offer that we might happily agree to if the bargain, or what we receive in return, is sufficient and clearly agreed upon by all parties. Gate 37 is the gate of the mouth so the planning, gathering and preparing of food often play a central role in all our family and community gatherings. In the bargain between Gates 37 and 40, Gate 40 is the willing provider and we are the distributor of its assets and skills."[3]

The condition that: "... the bargain, or what we receive in return, is sufficient and clearly agreed upon by all parties" has been one of the greatest lessons for me!

"... Anyone who has this channel is always being asked what is the deal or bargain we need to work out to get you to commit to 'X'. First of all, it is emotional and takes time to get clear. Secondly, when someone asks me what the deal needs to be, I don't know. They want me to use words (none in this stream) and they want me to 'think' what I need. I need time and experience with you to feel my way into what my needs are ... ultimately there needs to be some contract. But you must allow me some flexibility (the bargain). There is a breaking point and a point of no return eventually. If you are my family, my friend, there is some leeway and then snap. ..."[1]

The quote immediately above gives additional insight into this channel all of which I completely relate to. Over the past nine years I have accumulated a growing body of experience in what doesn't work for me (and I accept that as part of my 3/5 profile).

Initial post on April 6, 2015 -
I refer to Human Design on a daily basis and realize now it deserves its own blog. (That makes a total of at least 13 individual blog sites here at CureZone!)
"The Channel of Community" plus "The Channel of Mating" might possibly give an individual the most insight as to what makes me tick (mechanically ; ~ ).
