Happy Fourth Day of Christmas!
How I gifted myself just in time to enjoy this "fourth day of Christmas".

Welcome to "I Love". -
Firstly I wish to recognize a friend of mine who has a tattoo on his forearm that reads "AMO"[1] and is translated into English as "I love". My friend has deeply identified with AMO as a core expression of who he is and (now more than ever) I completely understand that!
My understanding of my friend and his love is greatly supported by my knowledge of the Human Design System and especially my knowledge of both my friend's Human Design and mine as well! That is because I see that my friend has a Defined "Self Center" where the keywords are "Self, Direction, Love and Higher Self"! [The Self Center is one of nine centers in the Human Design System (HDS)]. My friend's identification with love is further underscored by the fact that my friend has two of the four "Love Gates" permanently activated there in his Self Center! Those two Love Gates are the "Love of Self" and the "Love of Humanity". I also fully recognize this through my own Human Design as I have all of these aspects defined as well!
Over the last couple months I have experienced a most distinguished and unique personal transformation in my psyche and soul as a direct result of invoking my love through my expression: "I love it!" I began expressing "I love it" to the most common and ordinary things that I would encounter in my daily life especially things that I was most familiar with in a negatively charged way. I'll give you a good example.
I live with eight other individuals with whom I'm not related to by "blood" or by "religion" or with whom I do not have "intimate" relations with. They are all simply "housemates". There are often changes in who the housemates are as a number of people have come and gone over the years. My housemates do not know me according to my Human Design (unlike how I know my "UMO" friend). That's the environment. The background for my example is that I have training, life-long conditioning as well as a natural propensity for order (Saturn conjunct Sun) and cleanliness (Venus in Virgo) and especially in the kitchen (underscored by all my years working as a chef and in many other capacities in the food service industry).
Over the course of about five years in this household I have been transforming the order and cleanliness in the kitchen to a new standard that I am able to live with! Right now the kitchen is in fairly decent shape (even though there seems to always be room for improvement from my perspective ; ~ ) However, the journey to achieving the present state of the kitchen and especially my relationship to it hasn't always been easy for me (or for some others).
I use to feel upset emotions (like resentment, frustration and anger) upon seeing other people's dirty dishes left in the kitchen with no indication that the individual would be returning soon to clear their dishes. That went on for a pretty long time and there were times that I thought it was hopeless and that I needed to move to be at peace.
Over the last month or that has changed and as far as I can tell this is the major reason what it changed. I changed! I realized that all of my upsets were my own self-triggered emotions based on unreasonable expectations (a nice way of saying "hidden demands") of others! I then decided to let go of the expectations of others and simply do what I can do to make it work for me. One of the most helpful "tools" I used to support my change was "self talk".
