Cosmic chi pressure roller coaster
Introduces the concept of cosmic chi pressure as an influence on human physiology

Why does the severity of certain chronic conditions vary over time, worse on some days and better on others? Why do viral pandemics like H1N1 surface and ravage the planet for years at a time only to vanish into the background? Perhaps the answer lies in the energetic effects of planetary motion on the physiology of all lifeforms on the earth -- a form of astrophysiology.
The "Thiamine Duality Hypothesis" [1] suggests that there is a cyclic transfer of thiamine into and out of storage structures in the body which provide reserves of this precious and essential energy catalyst as a mainstay to all biochemical processes in the body. When sequestered within the "chi" lines, resonating thiamine molecules additionally form the basis of the body's energy field that responds to fluctuations in cosmic energy flow. This dual nature of thiamine, the "magic molecule", provides a unifying link between Eastern energy-based and Western biochemical-based medical philosophies.
The yin (storage) and yang (release) cycles are an essential mechanism for the maintenance of adequate thiamine levels in both the energy field chi lines and in the bloodstream. Cosmic energy fluctuations which perturb the feng shui energy flow that maintains this balance are instigated by the rotational interaction of the earth with the relative motions of the other bodies in the solar system. The timing and duration of yin and yang phases are variable and determined by the constantly changing patterns of planetary and lunar positions in relation to the earth and the sun.
Your body responds to the rise and set of the moon. You can "feel" these times as an increased perceived tension in a kinesiology hand grip. Your muscle strength is less during these times as the body shifts the thiamine balance from the bloodstream to the chi lines to compensate for the energy turbulence caused by the moon breaking through the horizon. But it is not just the moon. Every cosmic body in the solar system rises and sets on a daily basis as the world turns, and your body is sensitive to all of these events, and more, even for planets as far distant as Uranus or Neptune.
The changes that impinge upon your body's energy field can be considered to be a form of cosmic "chi pressure" which perturb your energy field sufficiently to cause it to react in an attempt to compensate for the background changes in energy flow. Movement of thiamine from the bloodstream into the chi lines is a "yin" type reaction. When the cosmic event abates, not as much thiamine is required in the energy field lines, and it drifts back out into the bloodstream, a "yang" type reaction. Biochemical traumas can cause a flood of thiamine from the chi lines to help deal with the upset. The ebb and flow of thiamine between these two states is a form of "chi respiration" which is essential for maintaining sufficient quantities of this remarkable nutrient for both energy catalysis and energy field flow.
Grasp an invisible ball with your hands so that your fingers are close but not touching. Wiggle the fingers on one hand. Can you feel a slight tingling in the fingers on the other hand? This is the energy flux of the body's field which is constantly interacting with external cosmic energy flow.
