Day 2 - Headache whoas have passed!
I've had a lot of time to think about it and I had unknowingly been in taking an increased amount of caffeine this past week leading up to my fast.

About 30/40 minutes ago I was getting ready to write my new blog and I was going to title it something like "OH MY HEAD!" but the pain is gone. I've been suffering from a headache since about 7pm last night. I think it was faintly there since maybe 4pm. It started on the right side. Then early this morning I noticed it had moved over to the left side. It is now 4 pm Sunday and for the last 15 minutes its been gone. I haven't had even two minutes where it was absent so I hope this is the end of it. I'm going to take a soak in the tub in a little bit. I'll make sure I don't get the water too hot ( which I LOVE to do). I don't want to trigger the head affliction party.
Why was my head hurting? Okay, I've had a lot of time to think about it and I had unknowingly been in taking an increased amount of caffeine this past week. I am not a heavy caffeine drinker. However, I had a lot of time to consider exactly how much coffee I've had and either I had two cups in one day and nothing the next or one cup for two days straight leading up to this weekend. And then nothing, so I can understand my body's reaction. Usually I have one or two cups a month! Wish I had paid attention to that because...
I have NOT suffered from hunger at ALL. It was the headache that did me in. I really really REALLY wanted an aspirin or something. Anything. And get this, the only pills that will really get rid of a headache as bad as the one I was having would be one spiked with caffeine. I rarely take them but I keep them in my medicine cabinet cause every 4 months or so I'll get a pesky headache like that. Anyway, it's basically over.
I did have a cup of Odwalla carrot juice and an red apple yesterday. No carrot juice today, but I'll have some later. I did have my apple today, green this time. I enjoyed crunching on it. That 's what I miss, chewing.

I'm getting my water down. About a pitcher a day. Not sure the amount, maybe a liter and a half. I'll try to increase it.

That's it for now. I'm probably going to add more. I have some collagen pills I want to add in.
I've been looking at a lot of healthy recipes. I think I might need to clean my frig out and start fresh.
