Winning The California RIght to Know Label GMO Foods Ballot Measure November 6 is a much a State of California Issue as a National Issue. Monsanto knows this, and they are beginning to pour millions of dollars into making sure that Californians remain in the dark about the ingredients in their foods. There are many arguments that will come up and each of these arguments is thought provoking, yet now is the time for each and every one of us to come together to say this very moment that we are one of the symbolic 7.5 million + 2 California Voters (Plus Our Cheerleaders from other states and Nations) who are letting us know right now that they plan to come out to polls November 6, and bring their neighbors with them.
This is not an issue of Democrat or Republican. This is an issue of the very survival of our Sacred Seeds that we have given away without our knowing. Nature had an idea in mind when she created seeds. They were intended to be Sacred, and to grow in accordance with Natural Laws respected by every religion and school of thought.
When we imagine that we can invent a better technology other than what
we already have in nature, we are the victim of our own profit motive. It is impossible to feed the world through any system of agriculture that is not local and grown out with the diversity of seeds.
Nature will rebel and is rebelling as we imagine we can get too far away from the power in soil to produce more and more fertile ground. Perhaps, we can do some kind of vertical gardening as a survival measure, but when push comes to trowel, we need everything that we take from the earth to go back to the earth.
Toward this end, I am calling you out to sign this Petition on Change.org.
If congress is convinced the Pizza is a Vegetable, then I am convinced we will Grow a Healtheir Pizza, and a grass roots movement of gardeners from every walk of life.

This is why I am taking the EG Mobile, my 68 VW Van up the coast from San Diego to Santa Rosa, CA between September 1-10. I want to stand in the garden of Luther Burbank in Santa Rosa, CA as the National Heirloom Expo Begins September 12, 13 and blow the Ram's Horn of my own Jewish roots to proclaim this as a Moment of Awakening.
Let everyone have choice to decide the ingredients they wish. This is what the California Right ot Know Label GMO Food Movement is all about.
And for those who want GMO Foods, at least let them know through an honest Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food, what we may be doing to our foods and what we have done to our Sacred Seeds.

Everything from high fructose corn syrup-sweetened Coke to soybean oil-containing Hellman's mayo would have to bear a label reading something like "Contains GMO ingredients."
That would send a shockwave through the food industry—one that could ultimately be felt on the industrial-scale US farms that have been devoting their land to GMO crops for years, and the companies that profit from selling them patented seeds and matching herbicides. The reason isn't just that California represents an imposing chunk of the US food market. It's also that a food-labeling law that starts in California is unlikely to stay in California.
