Caravan to National Heirloom Expo--OC Green Market Interest

Rana,
Thank you so much for your interest in the Caravan to the National Heirloom Expo that will be held September 11, 12 & 13 in Santa Rosa, CA. My Seed Dream is to leave San Diego September 1, 2012 and make the journey to Santa Rosa, meeting and encouraging people along the way to endorse the Ca Right to Know Label GMOs. My contribution to the campaign will include working with high school students in the science classroom at Hami High Los Angeles, and teaching about GMOs and the Grow a Healthier Pizza Movement. I will be teaching at the National Heirloom Expo, and also leading Opening and Closing Ceremonies, either officially or unofficially connected with the Expo itself. I will be driving up the coast in the Enchanted Garden Mobile, my 68 VW Van, that is the "Little Engine that Could." The Enchanted Garden Mobile has a lovely engine and is asking for a beautiful new paint job for the trip. She will have an interior design with a portable garden. The EG Mobile will be part of my exhibit at the National Heirloom Expo.
I would like to schedule talks along the route. I am deeply involved with local organic farmers at the Hillcrest and North Park Farmers' Market in San Diego. I stand by farmers each Sunday at the HIllcrest farmers Market, and often make videos.
During the week, I spend time writing Plant Your Dream Blogs. I have more than 5,000,000 page view on my Curezone Plant Your Dream Blog, where I am the Number one Blogger. I also write on the New Plant Your Dream Blog where I plant dreams for people and projects I admire.
I want to encourage you to give feedback about my ideas. I generally take my inspirations from Keep The Beet Media Star, The World's FIrst Talking Beet Plant, my companion. Most of my ideas start from an inspiration and then get grounded through feedback.
I am a professional writer and speaker, poet, and ceremonialist. I know how to speak to the press and am good before the camera. I graduated from Cal State Northridge in 1971 with national writing awards. During college, my writing helped inspire the creation of the Santa Susana Mt State Park. I have been involved over the years in cultivating the success of many super ripe people and their dreams.

Helping to regain our Sacred Seeds, and help my friends at Monsanto once again become a little company in Saint Louis, will be my pleasure at this time with your help and encouragement.
In September of 2011, I spoke at USDA headquarters and volunteered to be the Enchanted Gardener for the USDA People's Organic Garden Initiative. I want to see us become a nation of gardeners, each making good political decisions because we Keep the Beat with Nature.

PETITION INVITING 7.5 MILLION IN CALIFORNIA + 2 TO LET US KNOW WE ARE STANDING TOGETHER TO LABEL GMOs
This petition is inspired to so that we can get a sense that we have the votes we need to pass before November 6. It is also inspired as a way for me to gather endorsements for the California Right to Know Label GMO's Initiative.

21 people have signed so far. Registered votes are encouraged to sign as well as supporters from other states who want to encourage us to win this. I see people form other states helping us with the campaign via phone and emails. Everyone knows someone in California. The current phase of success in November asks many more people in California learn about GMOs. The Campaign also is asking for endorsements from people of influence. My position is that every person is a person who can influence others so Plant Your Dream! You are welcome to get behind helping us Grow a Heathier Pizza; that is one of the outcomes of this Petition drive.

Right now, as of June 3, 2012, millions of Californians are without their knowledge eating GMOs every day. GMOs are Genetically Modified Organisms. They have been in our food for a number of decades. Somebody thought this was O.K. to include GMOs in the daily foods we eat, but did not take the time to ask us first if we wanted them there. More than 40 nations of the world have the integrity to give their people choice to know if they are eating GMOs in their corn, soy, and a host of other foods, but in the US, since the inception of the FDA in 1906, we have leaned toward supporting commercial interests that have placed profits over producing healthy kids. This has gone so far that Congress, in Fall 2011, declared that Pizza was a vegetable just so they could keep from the expense of improving foods in our schools. From our point of view, kids would benefit from more and more healthy ingredients. Toward that end, we are coming together, bonding together, opening an honest Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food about GMOs, We are here to educate ourselves, and our fellow Californians that we might each stand in the light about what we are eating. We believe that in signing this petition we are Cultivating Food Justice on our own tables. We insist on our Right to Know and call on each other to Label GMOs.
We love California. We love good food. We love that we can grow our own food. Many of us are regaining confidence now that we can grow some of our own foods. We love and trust the process of initiative in the Golden State. We come together now as registered voters, and others around the country in support, that the people of California become aware that GMOs are in many of our foods. We each, endorse the California Right to Know Label GMOs. We are letting each other know that we are standing together here...to Grow a Healthier Pizza for our Kids.

WHAT'S UP WITH THE NUMBER 7.5 MILLION + 2 CALIFORNIANS?
I was with Pamm Larry, the Grandma who started the California Right to Know Label GMOs initiative May 29. Someone asked, how many people voted in California? She said 15 million. She said that we needed 2 people plus 50 % to win the California Right to Know Label GMOs Ballot Initiative. So...I thought...that meant we needed 7.5 Million + 2 Californias to Vote Yes. Get it?

Rana of the Orange County Green Market has Expressed Interest in the Caravan to the National Heirloom Expo
I was with Pamm Larry, Grandma inspiration behind the California Label GMOs Campaign, May 29, 2012, in San Diego. My goal for the day was to get her support for the Caravan Seed Dream I have to the National Heirloom Expo, September 11, 12 & 13 2012 in Santa Rosa, California.
I couple days after Pamm was here in San DIego, I got this email from Rana, of the Orange County Green Market. Receiving the email was a boost.
The Caravan is very much in the formative stages of planning. My plate is filled now with many things, including adjusting to the Partial Eclipse of June 4, 2012, that appears to be having a profound influence on the way I do things in the world.
I am feeling a deep calling to invest time in our garden here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community in San Diego.
One project in motion, that was inspired by visited Barry Koral at his tropical Fruit farm in Vista last Saturday is seeing more flourishing of our home garden, beginning with two main projects: The harvest of the Arundo Donax crop along the Arosa Canyon Rim, and building up our Food Not Lawns front Garden.
