"U.S. citizenship" - What Is It Good For?
"Facebook Co-Founder Renounces His U.S. citizenship" and others simply dis-identify themselves as such.
Date: 5/14/2012 9:22:30 PM ( 12 y ) ... viewed 2247 times The 14th Amendment citizenship is for those "persons" who were "... born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof". The key here is to know what the legal definition is for the term "United States". Do you know what that is?

I imagine that maybe one out of a million may immediately realize the truth stated by Dr. Rivera here that: "You don’t have to formally renounce something you don’t have."
Understanding just that, alone, can be a real gift!

Just posted at the Thrive Movement site:

The core issue regarding "Governance" has not been identified as of yet! The issue is one of status/identity. The government that is known as the "United States" has identified Americans as citizens of the United States (under the Fourteenth Amendment) through every means at it's disposal including the education system, the media and all of it's agencies (as well as through the State governments). However, citizenship under the Fourteenth Amendment was originally intended for the former slaves who were not allowed to be Citizens of the States. The problem is that "US citizenship" is a status of Federal granted privileges (these privileges are not the "natural" and/or "inalienable Rights"!) and therefor, all US citizens are subject to Federal control. This status is the polar opposite of that of a "free inhabitant". A free inhabitant in one State is entitled to all the privileges of Citizens in another State without having to subjugate oneself to the threats, coercion, fraud and usurpation of a government under tyranny.

I was not born in the "United States" nor naturalized in the United States. Therefore I was never ever a U.S. citizen. Therefore I never had to renounce a status I never had. Yet I did go through a major process to formalize my renouncement including formal notices served to the United States, publishing of my public notice, etc. That was the very best that I knew at that time (twenty one years ago) and I figured that my total costs were a wise investment and the least that I could do to assert my Lawful freedom!
However, now you could enroll in Dr. Rivera's class (for less than the fees that I paid twenty one years ago) and get a lot deeper understanding from the enormous body of knowledge that Dr. Rivera makes available for his students!

December 19th, 2014 - More re: the "Free Inhabitant"
"All civil jurisdiction is based on 'consent of the governed', as the Declaration of Independence indicates. Those who do NOT consent to the civil laws that implement the social compact of the municipal government they are PHYSICALLY situated within are called 'free inhabitants', 'nonresidents', 'transient foreigners', or 'foreign sovereigns'. These 'free inhabitants' are mentioned in the Articles of Confederation, which continue to this day and they are NOT the same and mutually exclusive to a statutory 'U.S. citizen'. These 'free inhabitants' instead are CIVILLY governed by the common law RATHER than the civil law.":
