My copy of "Cosmos and Psyche" arrived yesterday and it is virtually a perfect match for me! Reading Richard Tarnas is like meeting an intellectual companion with whom I can think and contemplate upon the truths of self, life and all my relations. His Cosmos and Psyche opens the door to a space in my heart and soul where I want live; (more than I have been living in beliefs that have out-lived whatever purpose they may have served me in the past).
The book inspires me to create a salon or other ways offering opportunities for conversations on these "intimations of a new world view".

There are a couple things that I would like to refer to that I think can make for good references to current issues such as the current situation with enforcement agencies against a number of small farms that sell farm milk and other farm products.
On page 41 Richard Tarnas says: "A little knowledge may be a dangerous thing, but a massive amount of knowledge based on a limited and self-isolating set of assumptions may be very dangerous indeed." In case you don't recognize the core quote here it is explained further.[3]
I think there is sufficient and relevant truth here to apply it extensively in the misguided war against "farm milk" aka "real milk" which is the grass-fed variety that has been a major staple in traditional foods over the millenniums.

The various government agencies that use their resources for fighting this "war" appear to be indoctrinated and myopically focused on the "milk problem" that we now know was a direct result of confinement dairy practices at the end of the nineteenth century. Anyone who understands the causative factors (having very poor conditions in the confinement dairy environments, the unnatural/unhealthy diet given to the animals) that became a breeding ground for disease for those mistreated animals resulting in piss-poor milk quality not suitable as nourishment can understand how that milk had made people sick. Yet at the same time of these problems there were other environments were well-treated, well-nourished animals in their natural environment of lush green pastures producing the healthiest milk that was used to bring those "sick" people (from the bad milk) back to health!
Pasteurization was credited for solving the milk problem but as much as pasteurization can be credited with being "the savior of the day" it never corrected the problem of the inferior milk itself that continued to be produced in factory farms that began spreading all across the country! The factory milk became more profitable and the real farm milk was seen as competition that needed to be eliminated. The strategy to do that was to make "fresh farm milk" illegal. The strategy that is applied in the legal sphere is based on "a little knowledge". "Knowledge" that is fractionated, "self-isolated" and filled with assumptions. That then has become "very dangerous" as it is used in the "war" against traditional small scale farming; typically a family farm that is continuing the ancient wise traditions of agriculture.

Back to the cosmos. The Astrological Ages include indications of humanity's evolutionary journey.
"Each Age lasts 2,160 years and the shift of the ages takes about 100 years with most of the changeover taking place in a 36-year Sun Period, a renaissance time that began in 1981 and concludes in 2016."[5] However - there is an extraordinary exception in this present "shift" with an anticipated genetic transmutation expected as of 2027.[6]
