Went to sleep later last night and fell asleep listening to music. In the the morning, I was rudely awakened by my father coming in to greet me and to tell me to stop fasting. What a great way to start the day. He called 3 more times today inclining whether I ate or not. I really hate being 21 and still being treated like a child but I guess this is what my parent's culture is used to, especially by someone who doesn't live in your home and barely comes once a week. (If you don't know by now, I am Filipino.)
I feel better about myself and have much more energy. I was jittery and I think my mom noticed since she did not make a huge hassle about my health today. I told her, I could either eat today and fast at a later time, or I could get it all done at once. She chose the latter right away and was surprised.
My legs feel lighter when I walk, dizziness is nonexistant, and I am able to take a shower without feeling faint now. Food is still a constant thought in my mind, but I am able to get my mind of it most of the time. My sense of smell has increased and the aroma of the food my mom makes is very enticing haha. I better stop or I may get those early fast hunger pangs again.
Also, my weight lost has started to slow down. Maybe it is because I have been drinking more water. I am still 110 pounds expecting to be 108 today. When I check myself in the mirror, I can still see some body fat and love handles (obviously not the fat kind) and my fat reserves are still there.
At the end of the day, I am hopeful that my body continues to get better. My face is a glows a little bit more than when I started. No new breakouts. Just a side note, the past 3 days, I have been scratching my legs frequently leading to minor wounds. I have since put some lotion with vitamin E and the itchiness has stopped. I suspect it is just winter cold with the friction of my pajamas but who knows.
Anyways, I am ready for bed. Thank you for reading and see you another day. :]
