Day 2: Wide awake and alert

I did some major thinking last night regarding when I would do a little bit of Water fasting, and I decided that I would start it on October 31st, as the 14th day will come around the end of my vacation (November 7-13)so I can rest my body as much as possible since I probably will feel horrible. Unfortunately, during this time, my mother will be visiting as well(luckly, she will be staying with my Grandma Mert in Pataskla, and not with me!). I know if she knows that I am not eating, she will pester me into "eating just a little of something" I have also decided if the detoxing gets too bad, I will switch with Juice fasting, which I have a feeling after the 14th day, I will have to do that.

SoooOoo, today is the start of my pre water fast. I can't say that I am prepared as I would actually be, since my prep time will be short. I wanted to get a large amount of time before hand (filling myself with good raw veggies and fruits)under taking this small quest. Oh well, one would have to say that all great adventures are never planned.

My evening last night wasn't the greatest, as I wasn't able to take my walk which is part of my daily 30 minutes exercising. I have decided that that I would spend time 30 minutes walking after work. I have my MP3 player stocked with upbeat, positive songs to help me on my way. I even have a couple Positive affirmations mp3 on there as well.

I serious thought about starting fast last night, but decided wait the week out and cook myself some healthy to start it along.

DINNER: Brown rice (no additives like butter, etc)Dark Red beans (Rinsed, to get all the salt off of them)cooked cubed boneless chicken breast (cooked with one teaspoon of butter) Spices: Pepper, Cajun seasoning and Miss Dash's Extra Spicy. I had one cup of brown rice and beans and one service size helping of the chicken breast. When cooking, I cut the breast in half, as it looked larger then a deck of cards and only cubed up one portion, so I knew which half to eat. CALORIE BREAK DOWN: Butter, 50 calories; Red Beans,90 calories; brown rice, 150 and Skinless Chicken breast, 150. Total calories: 440 calories meal. NOTE TO SELF: Do a bit of research on healthy sauces and additives to food to make it tasty.

WATER INTAKE: Low, I haven't been that thirsty at all. I have only drank about 5 ounces of water so far today, as well as I drank less then 8 ounces last night.

I weighted myself and I wasn't happy. I will not doing that again for a while, as it depresses me a little bit. It said I was 155 pounds. Not good for my only 5'1" frame. Good thing is that I am doing something about it!

I didn't get to read my bible last night, as I was a bit stressed out and I fell asleep early. I think it must have been the healthy eating, as I had vivid dreams all night long, as well as a very restful sleep. The dreams were so wonderful, that I didn't want to get up out of bed! I just read that eating food high in B6(Chicken and beans) can help with vivid dreams. LOL Now, I just wish I could remember what I drempt about, as it was really awesome.

I read outloud to myself my daily Affirmation, while I was in my car. I have to say that I got really hyped up about it and it made me feel good.
