IPHOTO LIBRARY MANAGER
SAVES THE NIGHT AND THE DAY
I am extremely pleased with the Iphoto Library Manager
application. This allowed me to find and reveal in my finder
the many Iphoto libraries I have on multiple hard drives.
This allowed me to do the transfers from one to another.
I highly recommend the Iphoto Library Manager.

October 18, 2010
It is 2:48 am on Monday October 18, 2010.
I would like to be sleeping now. I went to bed with
ear blockers, intense ones, on to get some sleep
while this intense annoying sound, that sounds like
angry bees, is coming from the presumably dependable
Duo Pro 2.0 that I bought from Frye's Electronics in
Vista a few months ago. FIrst the box came with the
wrong electrical outlet. I called the Hitachi. They were
good about sending the American part. I understand
I was not the only one who had this inconvenience.
I copied all my data from my Imac onto the Duo Pro Drive
preparing to do a OS shift from long overdue Tiger
to Snow Leonard. I still have not done that.
The next problem, and this was scary, was my Finder
in the Imac unable to read the Duo Drive a about two weeks ago.
I switched from the Firewire to the USB and then back again.
It was then readable.
A few days ago came the untimate insult.
I am in night and day work load preparing for the
Pacific Symposium 2010, November 3 (set up) and
November 4-7, 2010. A few nights ago, this horrendous
sign of bad harddrive started to show up.
I am going to record the obnoxious sound.
It goes from normal loud annoying sound of computer
loudness--the norma sound level that truly is not
acceptable--for this writer who spends a lot of time
needing silence--to now, this very distubing sound
of whirling. The whriling sound is not consistent.
Ever so often, I get the normal sound of loud fan.
I am going to be on the phone first thing in the morning
with HItachi. They do appear to have good tech support.
I want this machine replaced...I would like recompense...
at least two of them sent to cover the stress from this
and the loss of valuable time on my conference preparation.
Save the Titanic! I almost have copies all of my Iphoto Lbraries
on the Pro Duo Drive 2.0 from this breaking external drive
to a older Simple Drive that I am counting on working now
as a backup.
I also transfered some of my data to a Rocstor.
I had to eliminate data from the Simple drive to make room
for the data transfer from the Pro Duo Drive 2.0.
I wrote up in a dream about bees. In my dream,
the external drive was a bee hive. Then I realized
the bees were likely dying. Who vould live inside this beehive?
THen I started to think about Colony Collapse.
I was talking to Barry Logan about collapse.
I would like to put all of my La Milpa FIles in one Iphoto Library.
Also all of my Sage Mountain digital images, or a lot of them.
TOMORROW
I heard from Jack Miller about the event.
There was no problem with him not knowing.
He recommended Bob Damoni coming to sit with us,
November 6, 2010.
I have too much to do already.

The Pro Duo 2.0 Hitachi I buught six weeks ago
from Frye's Electronics is seriously costing me time and energy
now.
It is making a horrible noice.
It's normal work mode is very loud
as if the manufacturer did not care about the person
using this. Is it suppose to be this loud?
Now it is making a really bad sound
that would prevent me from sleeping in the next room
to my office.
I have numbers of back up vital information and new iphoto
on this external hard drive.
This performance of the Pro Duo 2.0 HItcachi former
Simple drive is not acceptable.
I am 18 days out from my major conference of the year.
I cannot even process the work from today at the Hillcrest Farmers
Market.
I have been working to create more room on my other hard drives
for numbers of hours.
It is slow going.
I have moved about 6.7 GB off my Main Imac drive
onto an old Rockstor.
The old Simple Drive has most of my other vital work on it.
My goal would be to copy the vital iphoto Libraries
on to the Rockstar, but that external does not have the space.
WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?
I really need to rest.
I am pushing it.
