CHEWING ON FOOD SAFETY TRIALS BEGIN

There are many very valuable things that we can learn
from "the case of Barry Logan"!
It is a "case" that at this point probably will not see the light of true justice (within the legal system) in terms of due process whereby a man accused of a "crime" gets a fair hearing where all the facts can be presented and his fate finally determined by an impartial jury of his peers.
However, imagine that this did go to court.
Item number one: show us the injured party. I
s there anyone, anywhere on this entire planet
that has a legitimate claim of injury against Barry?
No injured party? - then let's move for a dismissal of this "case"
and let Barry get back to the farm and continue growing
good food for his community. Case dismissed with prejudice,
(no right to appeal because their was no lawful grounds for the case)!
On the other hand a case could be brought
against the governmental agencies including
all the agents! Damages?:
The community has lost a virtually priceless farm
as a direct result of severe harassment that included monetary losses
that were so severe in this situation that it forced
the farm to close! Consequently,
I believe this "case" should be investigated.
I can also imagine certain people holding
a perspective that "the law was broken". Show me the law!
I will love to respond to any factual presentation
of actual law breaking!

In the Rock Your Soul Opera called Beet Keepers, Return!
I see us having mock trials online. We can start the trials
here on the Huffington Post, and then move them to the Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food Facebook site. I would like to see a Trial with all sides giving their evidence and point of view. The first Trial can be about Barry Logan. I would also like to see a Raw vs Pasteurized Milk on Trial. Then, I would like to see Raw vs Cooked Honey on Trial. We can go on from there!!! Let's begin now. We only have until after the election before our well meaning senators vote on Food Safety s.510 s.3767 or some version of that. I want the version to be include what We the People have to say. Here is a link to the
