Know your Compost Source - As Well As Your Food Source!
A couple articles for the big picture on toxic sludge that is promoted as "biosolids" and even as organic compost!

To end this practice, do your research on the ones you buy (and that could take time and talking with a lot of people - have your list of questions ready and get an answer to every one of them) and do not buy those that have (sewage sludge AKA 'biosolids'). Far better than that, make your own compost and don't buy any of (the commercial compost/fertilizers). You don't need much space for that, and you will 'know' what's in it."
