The Last Hurrah

The only one that I can think of right now is: "Let Little Ardissy Sing." I have no clue what the exact tale that comes after that title will be but the idea came to me from a story my Dad used to tell about Ardissy Kay Shackleford and her not-so-mellifluous voice.
Anyway. The Last Hurrah was today. I really savoured everything I ate and nothing was off limits to me. Waiting for J to get home. We are having scallops and asparagus with some dessert for him. I shopped today. Lots of goodies for him to utilise for meals. I just don't want to cook this time. Bad enough that I am a vendor for Whole Foods and have to be in there one to two times a week and smell the FLIPPING strawberries and other fruits. But, really, there is just no way I am going to cook for him during my cleanse. Or anyone else, for that matter.
My job is rife with food situations. I am constantly around food in business settings that are also somewhat social. I'm having lunch next Wednesday with a supplier and a client. Well, they will be having lunch. I will enjoy bottled water and my somewhat newly minted resolve. I've done this before with no problems and I know this time will be much of the same.
Listen, if I've learned anything it's that whatever you expect is exactly what you get. So, am going to expect nothing but the best.
Shall post tomorrow and time will tell. Always does.
