Water/juice fasting days 1-4

My fasting days 1-4

I've decided to start a blog to keep me on track. If I'm accountable to my readers, then it will help me to be accountable to myself. If you haven't been following my previouse posts in the fasting for weightloss forum, here's the beginning of my jorney up to now...

Starting weight: 127
Height: 5'3 (3/4) hehehe =0)
Day 1 weight: 127
Day 2 weight: 124.5
Day 3 weight: 122.5
Day 4 weight: 122.5

My plan is to do a fast for at least 2 weeks and acheive a BMI of 18.5. After my fast I will begin a lifestyle of eating called calorie restriction with optimal nutrition, eating 1,525 calories per day, or there about. I am a 29 year old mom of four, half time college student, and home schooling mom.

Day one was hard, as expected. I really wanted to take the first bite of my daughter's cereal, but I resisted. Day 2 was still hard, fighting the food cravings and all, but I prevailed. day three I woke up feeling terrible. i could hardly lift my legs to get off the couch, which is where I landed upon awaking. By about noon I was feeling much better, and I haven't had any cravings since hen! So, I made it. I'm at day four and feeling fabulous! I've even managed to make a full meal for my family without the slightest desire to eat any of it! I love to cook, but the 'tasting' has been creeping up around my waistline, so I'm managing to break that destructive habit.

So, I made up my mind that this time I would do whatever it takes to make it through the first dreaded three days. I allowed myself juice when I wanted (which was actually only between 10 and 20 oz per day), tylenol once for a headaches, and two cups of broth per day to satisfy my 'head hunger' if needed. I know that this isn't conventional, but I figure that if I can make it through the first three by any means possible, then I'd be able to knuckle down for the remainder of the fast.

Today I have had no desire for food, juice or broth. I did have some black coffee and I'm sipping on smart water. I know that I may yet hit very difficult times, but I'm basking in the smooth sailing as of this moment =)I was in a hurry to get my shoes for church this morning, and I was actually able to run up the stairs without getting winded!
