Notebooks Contain New Age History
Progress Report. This is a History of the New Age.

New Age History...
that is what it is.
So many of these Notebooks I am going through
record a relentless pursuit of something
behind my eyelids.
I am culling, toossing out.
I am at the end of the notebooks for the 80's and into the early 90's.
This may go from the early 80's to around 1995.
I can get a sense of the order now.
There are Notebooks that cover different periods
and events.
I am sidetracked by many of these notebooks.
Some are more easily throw out than others.
I threw out a lot of the materials in the notebook
for the World Peace Celebration in Balboa Park.
That was in 1983.
I threw out--maybe too much of the journal work
that led to CONFESSIONS OF AN ESSENE VISIONARY.
I spent a year on that book from around and before
the Harmonic Convergence to 1988.
The end of a five year relationship propelled a lot of that writing.
Some very important pieces came out of that time.
AN OFFICIAL EARTHQUAKE CANCELLATION NOTICE is one,
and a TWELVE STEP PROGRAM FOR RECOVERING PROPHETS.
I see I was involved in Creation Spirituality and the Matthew Fox
energy right before I entered Jewish Renewal in 1993.
Stepthen Longfeelow Fiske had been telling me about Rabbi Stan Levy
for a number of years. I showed up for the High Holidays of 92, I believe.
By 1993, I was attending my first Jewish Renewal national Kallah.
There are a number of notebooks recording the history of indiidual
relationships.
Some of these morphed into poetry books,
such as
SOMETHING I HAVE TO SAY (1983).
CONFESSIONS OF AN ESSENE VISIONARY CAME OUT in 1988.
There is a notebook of programs from AHP,
Association for Humanistic Studies. They had two
national conferences in San Diego, 1986, and 91.
I was taking a lot of photos for the conference in 91.
Something tells me it was 1993.
The AHP in Northern Cal was also important for me.
I orchestrated a Special Event around the Harmonic Convergence theme.
What year did Carl Rogers die?
It must have been before that because
John Vasconcellos helped me get a spot on stage.
I remember reading a poem to Carl Rogers.
There are also notebooks that record the
Whole Life Expo. I was able to add a Closing Ceremony
to a number of those shows. Some were held at the
Pasadena Convention Center and others at the LAX Airport.
I threw out most of the relationship notebook
with letters and poems to PH. That was in 1991,
it looks like.
1992 was Joan. Some of her letters are literature.
Sagatariius. Fire. She was with me when I entered
Jewish Renewal.
1993...That was a very big year.
I traveled to the Celebration of Community in Olympia, Washington
with David. I am sure that was an AHP in San Diego that year.
I read the Declaration of Interdependence on stage
right after George Leonard, the president.
There are a number of notebooks with photos.
I combined some of these.
I want to put some order to the existing notebooks
before a get into pulling more things out of the Basement.
Chef Jem has helped me fill about two large recycling barrels.
I would say I have tossed about 40% of the papers.
There are numbers of plastic bins that are now sorted:
There is one bin for the Harpo writings and Manuscriipt.
I once thought that if I ever win an academy award it will
come from that story. Harpo invented the Smoothie.
There are two bins with Dr. Bernard Jensen materials.
One contians most of the set of his Healthy, Happy Course.
THere is one bin of near one of a kind Dr. Bernard Jensen audio tapes.
Some of these are his lectures at the Ranch.
There is also a bin of Essene materials
including flyers from the Essene School of Thought Era.
There is one bin of writings from the 70's
when I worked for the San Fernando Sun.
I was editor during the two weeks of the
San Fernando Earthquake of 1971.
There is also a bin of Holisitc Living News
newspapers from the early 80's.
I had a column called DRUMMING UP BUSINESS
for 18 months.
There are also materials from the Mandala Conference.
That was in 1984. The first Enchanted Garden installations
were at the Mandala Conference. That was when
Robert Muller, then Assistant Secretary General of the UN
have me a Medal for the work I would do in my life.
There is also a notebook from 1967, when I was
a VISTA Voluteer at Parks Job Corps Center.
George Foreman was there at the time. He
went on to win an Olympiic Gold Metal.
I have a Press kit on that from the Center.
There are also various clippings from Junior College writings.
There are also clippings from my days writing
as San Fernando Valley State College. The School changed
its name while I was there. I have found the articles
I wrote that were submitted to the Hearst Writing Competition.
I won fifth and eleventh place in the nation two years for
feature writing. Both articles were about American Indians.
During the year I was writing for the San Fernando Sun,
I was also doing work for the Santa Susana Mountain Park Association.
That turned into a book that included an original Stagecoach history.
The book helped create the Santa Susana Mountain State Park.
My final year in college was a horrific time.
I wanted to be a teacher. I was not good in the classroom.
That year was 1971 and part of 72.
In Fall of 72, arthritis was acting up.
I had a job in Thousand Oaks for a time on a newspaper
in the worst of all areas of expertise--darkroom.
I was fired. That was a dark night time.
By Fall 72 I was at Dr. Jensen's Ranch.

Chef Jem has been a great support.
I am very tired right now.
I just showered.
I am going to nap and put on fresh clothes.
I want to do more more round of ordering tonight with his help.
I am looking forward to pulling things out of another section
of the basement. Hopefully there will be a lot of duplicate materias
and/or things that fit in the bins already designated.
