beginning of day 3 WATER FAST (12 lbs LOST!)
Day 3 Water fasting 12lbs lost
Date: 6/26/2008 11:26:28 AM ( 15 y ) ... viewed 1433 times I weighed in at 169lbs this morning, the beginning of day three.
That makes two full days of water fasting.
Total weight lost is 12 lbs.
I have the most horrible breath and body odor and am craving a cinnabon like an evil genius craves an igor!
Threw up last night but there was nothing to throw up except water and bile.
I think it was bile, from reading other blogs of people doing water fasts it seems like that is what our body puts into our stomach.
I am wondering if all this is the Detoxifying process or if I am just not meant to do a water fast.
A few things that I must mention.
1) I did some cardio and abs yesterday. Cardio was at moderate intensity: felt like I was out of breath, like I couldn't catch my breath.
That was pretty scary.
2)I sweat like crazy even doing the lightest of strenuous activities.
Laundry and morining walks for example.
3) Even though I have lost 12lbs and I have been in ketosis for 2 days, my body fat is going up.
It's at 18.5 right now.
I started off at 17.5
After working out yesterday, it was at 21 percent.
I think the body fat monitor I have may be off because of...
Well, I dont know why it would be off so I am going to buy a pair of skinfold calipers to see if I am really gaining body fat.
