Date: 12/5/2007 11:42:09 AM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 5665 times I chose not to seperate these days because they all included the same thing, tiredness, that headache right in the center of my head that always comes with detox, but I am not letting this get to me. I did skip my 3 normal days of cardio hip hop (1 hour three times a week) because I was soooo tierd, but as far as hunger goes.....not so bad. I have not weighed myself yet because I am working away from home and have no scale where I am, but I am ok with that. I am supplementing my juice with psyllium husk and have not had any problems with bm's so far.
Grocery bag this week:
Butter Lettuce
Kale
Parsley
Carrots
garlic
radishes
beets
ginger root
apples
oranges
sweet potato
arugala
cucumbers
limes
For anyone who is just starting fasting, don't mistake the detox days for what the fast feels like. Think of it as paying your debt to your body for all you have done to it and push through.
I will say this for day three.....at night, I miss having a hot meal so I made a potassium broth of red potatos, carrots, kale, garlic, pinch of cayenne, and it was bland, but I put it in a bowl instead of a mug and felt like I was having hot water soup...lol..yum. Anyway, it was a way for me to feel like "mentally" I was having soup.
