April 28, 2010
I just had a powerful transformational experience
walking the land where I live.
I have not had this kind of experience in years.
It rained some last night.
I did not imagine we would have any more rain this season.
I gathered a yellow bucket full of rain
off the roof when I most often gather rain.
I am feeling profoundly touched.
I took photos under the light of clouds.
Oh my God.
The revelation came near the loquat tree.
I thought of Steven Brooks.
He ate some off this tree a number of years ago

that had it not been for students saying

turtles would not be swimming in the pond today

One Good Deed Deserves Another 14 y
Do you have repairs you need done?
Do you need remodeling, home building,
or repair? I am helping a team of
honest and professionals who earn
a living doing this kind of work.
Write me to be put in contact with them.
One Good Deed Deserves Another.
I had the broken hinge on my home office door
fixed this afternoon by a great team of
men who can do every aspect of construction.
A broken hinge may have led me to the opportunity
to not only have my door hinge fixed but help
some lives.
This is a photo of David the Painter and tim, the Team Leader, who
have now completed highly professional remodeling and repairs
on the house next to the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community,
four blocks from San Diego State University. Do you have work
for them? They can do almost every aspect of remodeling and home
repair at a fair price. They are honest and good natured men.
I want to see them get more work, and they are willing to do some
needed repairs for me here at home in trade for work I can’
get them. Please communicate through My Faceboo ... read more

Food Safety San Diego Style 14 y
Food Safety San Diego Style
ABSTRACT: Authentic Food Safety
is a byproduct of supporting local
organic farmers everywhere.
Inauthentic Food Safety attempts to
fix a broken system of Agricutlure by
regulating large and small farmers
at the same level. This potential burdens
the small farmer who may be inpacted
by #s510 The (FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act.
What does Food Safety look like
San Diego style?
What does Food Security look like
San Diego style?
They pretty much look the same.
The root of both is support for your local farmer
and making sure that the farmer who is growing your own
food is a personal friend.
In San Diego, a city that can grow food, not only for every person
living within its boundaries, but export food (God Forbid!) to other
nearby cities, such as Los Angeles, about 100 miles away, we can
provide our citizenry with real food.
Real Food, what is that?
There are two kinds of food, a ... read more
