KEEPING THE MOMENTUM GOING
from the 2010 Cultivating Food Justice Conference
at San Diego State University April 24-25.
You are invited to RSVP here
and come over to the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
next May 30, 2010 4-9 PM. Let's keep the momentum going
after our very important 2010 Cultivating Food Justice Conference
April 24-25, 2010.
Lucy Larom is sharing about the work
of ending Genocide in Uganda and then
introduces Raj Patel. That is Raj in the front row
sitting next to Dean Chase, Undergraduate Dean of students
SDSU. SDSU was highly supportive of the 2010 Cultivating
Food Justice Conference, April 24-24, 2010.
FROM A NOTE I FOUND ON THE WEB:
IS RAJ PATEL THE MAITREYA,
I.E., THE MESSIAH?
Not only is Share International NOT a religious organization,
NO ONE in Share believes Raj Patel is Maitreya.
NO ONE.
At first I was sceptical about Raj, but when I was unable to find any other person who has been interviewed on Major US television recently, and whom fitted the description Share Internationals Benjamin Creme has given about what Maitreya would be like when he started his open mission, I began to investigate this Raj Patel character a little more closely.
When viewing this video please keep in mind that Benjamin Creme has stated that leading up to the day of decleration, Maitreya would not reveal that he was indeed Maitreya, and would appear to be just a normal man like any of us, but we would know there was something different and special about him, when we heard his message.
I'm not saying Raj Patel is Maitreya for sure, but I am saying that at this point he is the leading candidate, until someone can provide evidence of a more suitable person who matches the criteria given to us by Mr.Creme.
I sent time with Raj Patel at the 2010 Cultivating Food Justice
Conference, April 24-25, 2010. I took him to a park-like scene at San Diego
State University where I imagined him speaking to the group
as we would all sit on the hillside. It took about ten minutes
to walk to the park. I made a video. We had quality time together.
Then David Larom came and took him.
I looked into the eyes of this man beyond his stage
persona. I feel touched by what I saw and the values
he holds, deep values of love and family and caring.
I would say the man's work in the world is Christ-like.
I would say I feel deeply touched by looking into his
eyes and feeling his soul.
The next day, I interacted again with him.
I was playing with him,
and without saying it, calling him out for his
stage persona. He played with me.
Raj Patel is a very human, delightful man
who says many of the things that all of us
who care need to be saying now.
He is here to save the world as much
as you are here to save the world.
We never talked religion in our short clip.
I did ask him about this Messiah woo woo.
He is about doing his work. He is not
into being looked upon as anything special
other than the writer and speaker that he is.
A friend of mine, Terry Cole Whittaker says
that what people think of us is done of our business.
Everyone can have their own opinion of this
very intelligent, heart felt man who cares.
Read his books.
That is a good place to begin meeting the man
who some are creating a lot of woo woo about.
