Hey Leslie, I hope things aren’t too crazy getting ready for the Holidays! Deb told me that you would be interested in having a student at the market every week. I was talking to a student named Jin Hee Park about the prospect of having her take a look at tongues and pulses and make suggestions for vegetables for customers. She has an extensive knowledge of Eastern Nutrition and is extremely competent and I thought this would be a good way of generating interest in eating for an individuals health. ROOTS OF GIVING MARKET at POINT LOMA NAZARENE COLLEGE
4-8 PM, December 5 touched me deeply. I felt a spirit of Christ
passing through the event, though I did not hear any preaching.
I saw God's Word in action. I saw love and caring for His world

Stop Pesticide lobbyist Nomination. Take Action now! 15 y
What's up now: Islam Siddiqui - former pesticide lobbyist and vice president for CropLife America - is STILL on track to be confirmed as the U.S. Trade Office's Chief Ag Negotiator. He will likely pass through committee this week to a full Senate vote. After that, his confirmation could happen within hours.
Call your Senator today and urge him/her to take a stand against Siddiqui and "agribusiness as usual." Tell them that putting a pesticide pusher in charge of U.S. ag trade is unacceptable.

Iphone App Iswipe Does a Great Job 15 y
Participated in the ROOTS OF GIVING
Fair at the POINT LOMA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY.
I found the campus and its students an Island of Hope
and personal healing for me. I met numbers of
delightful students and took time to visit
some of the other vendors who were
doing remarkable work in the world.
One I spent time with was the
CORRIDOR OF HOPE booth. I bought
a lovely scarf I will treasure made by
a Third World Artisan. The purchase
was transacted on an Iphone App
called ISWIPE that will help
me do Credit Card transactions.
This will help me as I continue
to work to save the EXOTICA RARE FRUIT NURSERY
in Vista and its inventory of thousands
of trees and plants from the world
seeking new Plant Parents.

We have some Christmas lights, but if you want a bit more direct light on yourself, you must bring your own lights. Also, we have a few canopies, but not necessarily enough.
