I want to recommend that you view
the ROOTS SUSTAINABLE FOOD PROJECT
website, coming out of San Diego.
The Roots Sustainable Food Project
meets each Monday at the local Ocean Beach
People's Food Store between 4 pM-5:15 PM.
Many of the leading advocates of a Bright Green Future
for San Diego get together.
I attend the meeting each Monday
whenever feasible.
Among some of the inspiring voices
I hear at the meeting are flow master
MATT FINKLESTEIN, and SHANNON OLIVER,
members of the LA MILPA ORGANICA FARM,
BETH HOBB, a great loving heart helping to network
the community; CARA H. CADWALLADER, who
inspires the Free Form Boogie called DANCEJAM.
CARA also coordinates the tabling at events for
the Roots Sunstainable Food Project. She is a vital
team player within the Roots non-profit organization.
MEL LIONS, a San DIego community leader for more
than 30 years, serves on the board of directors of
root and is a co-founder. Mel has a gift for seeing and nurturing
the best in each person who volunteers for the noteworthy
organization.

KEEP The BEET Media Star, the World's FIrst Talking Beet Plant,
inspiration behind the HASEED Rain Dance movement,
will root for the seed dreams of 12 people
between the hour of 8 PM-9 PM only.
TAKE YOUR DEEPEST SEED DREAM
OUT OF THE BEAUTIFUL BOX
and PLANT THEM IN LIVNG SOIL.
"The Earth and the Soul are Soilmates,"
sez KEEP The BEET.
12 people will be invited to take their
deepest dreams out a beautiful box
and root their dreams with beet seeds
and small living beets in living FOXFARM SOIL.
There is a ritual involved where each person
then fills out commemorative certificate
where you notate
the dream that will grow as your dream grows.
A donation of $10.00 is suggested.
Funds will go to the La Milpa Organic Farm Well project.
This is a suggested donation.
You may contribute more or less, as you wish.
You will receive a small BIOSMART SUGAR CANE POT
made of Bagasse, a sugar cane by-product
and Foxfarm soil in the pot, donated by
BILL TALL OF CITY FARMER's NURSERY.
Those who miss this rare opportunity
to ROOT YOUR DREAM may do so again
from 5 PM- 6 PM at the ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY
the last Sunday of the Month, December 27, 09.
Twelve are invited to that event. Please RSVP
if you want to be one of them.
