INTRO:
I once was engaged to a woman
who accused me appropriately
of a condition known as Terminal Seriousness.
This poem came from a mood of upset,
but then as I completed it, I saw what
I needed to do to Uplift myself.
I have a friend who cries at times.
I cry llittle. I think crying can free up energy.
I find that when I allow myself to get into my feelings,
my feelings can change. I would rather feel my feelings
than use Mind Science bandaids to stop myself
from feeling. I do believe that we are compelled

I am taking back my power..
here are my morning thoughts.
Yesterday was an amazing day.
I woke up early and did some relationship
writing, around 5:30 PM.
I had a very disturbing night.
I came home after a July 4th party around 1 am.
I came home and read an email that plugged me
in. It was the beginning of a process to clarify my
closest relationship. This is bringing up a lot of stuff.
The Show must go on.
I left for the HIlton.
Near the hotel, I made a wrong turn.
I felt anxious. Where was the damn place????
I could see it all now: A missed appointment.

I got an email from an old friend
yesterday. He was saying that he was going
to pass on July 4 because he did not celebrate
this country or feel that it had anything to do with Freedom.
