Day 6...It's Not Always Easy 17 y
It's your decision...Is it meant to be?
Greetings,
Sometimes when we set off on these journeys, it seems that the timing is right and that it was just meant to be. Other times the journey can be quite difficult and we struggle to see our goal come to fruition. This difficulty is not always an indication that what it is we set out to do is ill-fated. On the contrary, difficulties and challenges during our journey can play an important part in understanding ourselves in a much clearer light. It would be great if during a cleanse everything went according to plan and there were no bumps in the road or ... read more
Day 5...Looking Deeply 17 y
Within each of us there is a well of energy that must be regularly replenished.
Greetings...
This morning when the alarm went off, I had to drag myself out of bed. I felt as if I could have slept another eight hours. This is an indication to me that my body is beginning to go through the healing and rebuilding process. As I progress in this current journey, my focus is shifting from getting through the initial three days to examining the things I don’t like in my life and a plan for creating change. This in depth look at my life allows me to see the inherent good that I am blessed with, as well as things that need modification. When I allow myself to le ... read more
Day 4...No Challenge So Great 17 y
You can overcome anything if you never stop looking for a solution.
Greetings...
It seems as if I am starting to settle into my groove on day four. You read so much about the struggles many individuals go through on the first three days of the cleanse, thus the high attrition rate. In my past cleanses, I had never really had trouble with the first three days, but this cleanse was the exception. It’s been said by many Master Cleansers, that no two cleanses are alike. I would have to emphatically agree with that assessment. It seems that at this point I am over the hump and starting to feel that renewed energ ... read more
Day 3...More Centered Today 17 y
The calmness of a quiet sunny day.
Greetings...
Today is already shaping up to be a much better day then the last two. It has been a real struggle for me this time around to get off the launch pad but today I feel invigorated. I just needed to be honest with myself and focus on my goals in order to overcome the initial challenges. The promises I make to myself only go to illustrate that in order for me to obtain the liberated energy I seek, I must be good to my word. I find this to be true in all aspects of my life and especially when I set my mind to cleansing and healing my body.
If you follow along, ... read more
Day 2...Allowing My Inner Light To Guide Me 17 y
What today will be like is up to me.
Greetings...
Okay, I have to confess that yesterday was a pretty brutal day for me. I had a dull throbbing headache all day and my cravings for food were quite distracting. I don’t drink coffee or soda so I wasn’t experiencing caffeine withdrawal, but something was really off tilt for me yesterday. However, I did preserver and am on day two. Hopefully this will be a better day. It would have been so easy for me to give in and quit or put off the cleanse for a later date, but s ometimes familiarity and comfort need to be challenged. One thing for sure, doing this blog and checking ... read more
Day 1...Time to get my house in order 17 y
You're Alive. Do Something
Greetings...
As I begin this journey, I had to sit and recollect on past successes and the one failure I had in April. I went five days and quit. I am still not quite sure what it is I did wrong, but my heart just wasn’t in it. I am hoping that this time around, the result will be more positive.
For the last 10 days, I have been focusing on colon cleansing. Needless to say, I am quite regular at this point, so I am hoping to eliminate lots of built up toxins in my body. I am doing my modified SWF in the mornings, 8 ounces of water ... read more
So you want to do the Master Cleanse??? 17 y
Returning to familiar territory
Greetings...
Once again I find myself returning to familiar territory. I am quite surprised at the number of views I have had on this blog and hopefully, I have provided some insight for those of you experiencing the Master Cleanse for the first or perhaps second time. This will be my fourth go around, and although I am not as experienced as others in the forum, I do approach the cleanse with much zeal and dedication.
For the last 10 days, I have focused on colon cleansing. I originally was an advocate for oxypowder, and have had great success with it, but there is a bet ... read more
Post-Cleanse Liver Flush 17 y
A Treasure Trove
Greetings...
I did my post-cleanse liver flush last evening using the Clark method and it yielded amazing results. I realize that it was pretty close to my breaking my cleanse, but I just felt it was time. I knew for a fact that my liver was congested, and after all the post-flush BMs, my conclusion was correct. I passed a very large number of stones, perhaps as many as 200. The truly amazing thing was the size of so many of the stones. I would have to say that at least half were 1/4 to 1/2 inch in diameter. There were actually a few that were eve ... read more
Days 18 & 19 17 y
That's it for now.
Greetings...
Well I have decided that it is time for me to end this particular journey. My body has been giving me indications and I have learned that it is best to listen to one’s body. It has been another successful cleanse and I am happy that once again I was able to share my thoughts with those of you who have been following me during this cleanse. Over the next several months, I am going to be doing a series of liver flushes, every two weeks, as I am certain that there are issues that need to be addressed. Perhaps I will post any interesting results from ... read more
Days 15-17...Surprising myself 17 y
Where is all this gunk coming from?
Greetings...
Yes, I’m still cleansing and have made it 17 days. I’m surprised and at the same time impressed with my fortitude at this point. A couple of observations from the last few days. I continue to consume one-half teaspoon of 90,000 hu cayenne per drink and it is yielding incredible results. I am currently eliminating more gunk from my system then when I started this cleanse. The last two days, or should I say nights, I have not had to get up at 3 am to use the bathroom as a result of the cayenne and lax tea. However, when I do the morning SWF, ... read more
Days 13 & 14...In Cruise Control 18 y
Everything is a bit automatic at this point.
Greetings...
Things are progressing quite smoothly at this point and not really a whole lot to report. The half-teaspoon of cayenne I have been taking per drink continues to reap significant rewards. I am have large eliminations in the early morning with the help of the lax tea, and on average about eight more after the morning SWF. The majority of my post-SWF bowel movements are very mucousy and contain a lot of old gunk that is being dislodged from my intestines and colon. It still amazes me that after 14 days of not eating that I am still ... read more
Day 12...Nothing much to report 18 y
Another day, another lemonade
Greetings...
Not too much to report today. I resupplied myself with lemons and plenty of water yesterday, enough to get me through another seven days, so I somehow feel committed at this point to go at least that far. I did noticed this morning that I have some strange looking red blotches on the right-side of my neck. No telling what that is from, but I’m sure it has to do with the elimination of toxins. I did have a rather large mucoid elimination this morning. I am still trying to figure out where all that mucus is coming from. Perhaps Zoe can ... read more
Day 11...I need to restock 18 y
Since I'm not ready to break I better restock.
Greetings...
I woke up this morning and it seemed like something had died in my mouth. It was by far the foulest mouth I have had since beginning the cleanse. I can only attribute it to the fact that more and more toxins are being eliminated from my body. I need to head out this morning and buy more lemons and water. I still am not sure how long I am going to continue this cleanse. My original plan was 14 days with the hope of going 21 days. I am almost certain at this point that I will go at least 21 days and I am hoping that I have the mental wi ... read more
Day 10...It's Christmas 18 y
What a wonderful gift to myself on this tenth day.
Greetings...
Well I’ve made it 10 days and I’m still chugging along. Nothing much really to report other than the fact that I feel great, am sleeping incredibly well, and have lots of energy. The reduction to a half teaspoon of cayenne per drink did the trick. No more cramps and I am still having good eliminations. One thing I have noticed that really didn’t occur to me until yeaterday, was that once again, I do not have the white furry tounge that many people have when cleansing. Anyway, I am moving into phase two of my cleanse and I’ll see how long I ... read more
Day 9...A small revision 18 y
Sometimes we need to revise what seemed to be a good plan.
Greetings...
It’s Christmas Eve in Germany and the sun is shining. It really has been a very mild winter so far. To date, we have had no snow this season, which is very unusual for this time of year. Generally the snow starts falling in late November and will continue into February or March. I was hoping for a white Christmas this year but it appears that will not be the case. Anyway, I can’t complain about the sunny, albiet, cold days. The weather is fabulous.
I have had to revise the amount of cayenne I was taking in as it was playing hav ... read more
Day 8...Cayenne Rocks 18 y
Lots of Gunk Being Eliminated
Greetings...
My energy levels are way up today and I am feeling great. Yesterday, I upped my intake of 90,000 cayenne to one teaspoon per lemonade. I had to cut back to a heaping half-teaspoon after the first three drinks. For some reason, I was experiencing abdominal cramps, much like when I first started drinking smooth move. Additionally, I was passing lots of air yesterday, not gas, just air. I am not really sure what is going on inside of me, but it seems to be something intense. At 3 am, the cayenne and lax tea conspired against me once ag ... read more
Day 7...Back on track 18 y
Counting my blessings
Greetings...
Yesterday was absolutely wonderful. I felt incredible, partly because I had overcome my intense desires to eat but mostly because the Master Cleanse is doing what it does best, clearing the body of toxins. I actually made it through the night without having to get up at 3 am due to the cayenne and lax tea. That was rather nice. That all kicked in around 6 and again at 7:30 this morning. I am still moving quite a bit of gunk out of my system with the morning BMs. The cayenne is really doing the trick. I am up to a heaping 1/2 tea ... read more
