day 4   18 y
A complete turn-a-round

Day 4 was fab. Felt really good. I did alot of evacuating yesterday so that helped. Skin is clearing up, taking its own sweet time. After doing an exfoliating scrub and facial steam on day 2, complexion is usually drier, flakier and generally bad looking but after 4 -7 days, starts looking better than before. So I’m at the point where I feel my face is on a mad one, having gone from bad to worse. Just gotta wait it out. Besides, the days just zoom by these days. Did Oil swish, had my morning teas, pineapple, black grapes and a mango. Multi-herb tea for kidneys, lymph and general heali ...   read more

This is what happens when you don't get enough sleep...

Mood - Content :)

After signing off yesterday, I went home to prepare steamed salmon and mixed veg (carrots, peas, broccoli and cauliflower from frozen) with plenty of dried parsley, garlic and dill, served and sprinkled with cayenne pepper and celery sea salt. Had a large cup of barley drink (roasted barley, rye and chicory from health shops) with cayenne, 30 mins beforehand. Can you tell I’m luvin the cayenne?   My energy elevated in the evening. There was alot of prancing around the house like I was high on life. When I say prancing, I mean dancing to my favourite music, not prancing around lik ...   read more

A New Day   18 y
Welcome! Tea, coffee? perhaps a Coke? didn't think so...

Following a weekend of happily scoffing my last remnants of junk food, I feel free. Free to wipe the slate clean and make a fresh start -- A clean break! I’m *eXcited*. Just yesterday, I was reading up on diets according to body types (pitta, kapha..) and was amazed at how my current diet and symptoms matched up with the Kapha-water type. I couldn’t relate to that body type stuff in the past. I didn’t feel it applied to me... not ’til last night. So I’ll be incorporating that into my regime.  Oil-swishing is something new I learnt about last week. Sceptical at first ...   read more
