Live Hummus recipe.
A few people asked for this recipe.
The secret is soak/sprout your dried chickpeas. And you have to do ahead. Way ahead.
One cup dried chickpeas
One lemon plus juice of one lemon or lime.
One cup raw sesame tahini. I buy from my local health food grocer. May be purchased on line....regular tahini may also be used...the sesame seeds are roasted....depends on how much of a raw purist you are :)
Three or more cloves garlic. This is different for everyone.
One-half cup cold pressed extra virgin olive oil

Fresh Spread for Wraps and Sandwiches.
Today’s intake:
Breakfast: .25 section canteloupe and 11 soaked almonds.
Lunch: vine ripened cherry tomatos, cup of broccoli so fresh it was blue-green and a small handful of freshly shelled pecans, Thank you to my son for doing that for me.
Snack: literally a spoonful of live ”Garden burger” as I was preparing a late lunch for my family
Dinner: live hummus, with sliced vegetables for dipping in it. My garden burger blended with sesame and dehydrated for live ”falafel.” and Fruit for dessert.

Used to be only chocolate could do that for me....
Attended a potluck dinner today and I prepared several raw dishes...they went over fairly well...several people asked for recipes...particulary for the two desserts that I took.
I never did say that they were raw dishes...however when I told how to make...two ladies were really impressed that there was no cooking involved...although one didn’t quite believe that the ”cake” required no baking....
Best of all though, with my own live food to choose from, I didn’t have to be tempted by all this dead stuff. Avoiding the meat is easy...but when strictly vegetarian, its hard to eat at some ... read more

Raw v's SAD, the differences for me.
Join me as I go back to 100% Raw. I was there, and I LOVED it. Easier, better, healthier, more beautiful, more energy and the best and easiest and most PERMANENT weight loss. I have severe endometriosis and in the year I lived raw I had NO symptons, no flare ups, no bleed outs, and within weeks of going 100% NO PAIN.
Why did I leave...stupidity, lack of courage, laziness.
