I guess I forgot to blog yesterday but it was a typical day with no issues. Today I am up early and felt a bit weak but it is OK. I drank some water and am now having a coffee. Its probably cheating a bit but I look forward to coffee sometimes and it keeps me on track. I don’t use sugar so I think its OK. I have not had any food so that is the important thing. I only use supplements like calcium when I get leg cramps, which this time I haven’t really had an issue with, I woke up feeling fresh and have noticed a drop in inches with my clothes. DAY 7 has been great! I feel so much better than the last fast. I am not hungry and I have energy this time. I am using the bike for 30 minutes each morning now. I am drinking a big litre of water probably 5 times per day now. I have coffee in the morning that is black, or a tea occasionally with just a smidge of milk. It is too hard to cut those things out. I might go out and get herbal tea instead of tetley so I can cut the milk out. I am not craving food at all. In fact I can make supper for my teens and still walk away after without even tasting. So this fast has been easier than the last one. I am less hungry and my body seems to get whats happening. I have been drinking about 6 litres of water a day. I just sip it all day long. I have been having tea once in a while to sooth my stomach. My stomach gets a bit upset from time to time. The tea soothes it and I also will use a suppository when that happens to get rid of waste. When I fast, my body has trouble getting rid of waste so I help it along. Today I woke up at 430 AM feeling good. I went on the bike for 30 minutes, had a shower and then went and had a coffee with a small amount of cream. i am hungry but not too bad. i have my water with me and am going to go to sleep for my night shift tonight. I am still at the same weight but I am not discouraged. The weight I already lost, shows in my clothes!! my body feels good, pink tongue so far, slightly hungry but not serious stay tuned.   visit the page

DAY 1 of second water fast begins today because I got up not hungry so I am going to start again.
 
I woke up this morning feeling good with a good attitude and decided to do another fast starting today. I got up and made a tea in a thermos for work and packed my water cooler for my 12 hour day. Hopefully I can make it to 30 days this time but we will see. Practice makes perfect with fasting since the body gets more used to it with each one and allows you to do longer fasts. I forgot to weigh myself before my shower so I weighed myself dressed today at 318 pounds. I don’t think I gained 4 pounds since yesterday lol but I had to weigh myself with clothes on. day 8 - I broke the fast due to extreme hunger and pain but I am going to do a 2 day strict keto diet and then start the fast all over again. I will keep blogging.
 
So last night at 2 am, I woke up to intense stomach pain, intense hunger to the point that I was completely weak. This is a sign that my body is finished the fast. This is probably because this is the first one I have done in about 6 years so its actually a good first attempt. In the past I always had to work my way up by doing a 3 day fast, then 6 day then 14 day etc. I went upstairs and made myself a big green shake with cucumber, greens, lemon juice and egg in bouillon. Day 7 Well last night I had a lot of stomach growls. Really loud ones, right after the other. I got worried that I would have to end the fast because intense hunger returning means your body has had enough. But the interesting thing was that I was not hungry. It was weird. So I decided to sleep on it. This morning I am fine with no hunger so its not the hunger returning. My tongue is still white so I am not done. Last night I slept very well. Well, it was a good day. I rode the bike for an hour, drank about 6 litres of water and peed a lot. I have a cough which means my lungs are being cleaned. today my stomach growled but I was not hungry so that was confusing. I had some cramps and bloating so I used a suppository because those symptoms are bowel related. After I got rid of the waste, the symptoms were gone. Hello again OK so we are at day 6. Well, I slept well last night which is great!! Last night I smelled popcorn from upstairs and it was a nice smell but the thought of eating now turns my stomach. Also the cream in the tea is also turning my stomach so I am drinking tea black just once in the morning. I have increased my water intake because I was feeling dizzy which usually means I am dehydrated. This is very early on Day 5 at 0134 am lol. I fell asleep early so I probably got 4 hours sleep. My legs were restless and it woke me up. I went upstairs and my kids didnt clean the kitchen last night so I had to clean up the food and load the dishwasher. I was not craving food but the old habits of taking a bite of something did go through my head. I did not eat anything however, and now the kitchen is clean. Ok so Day 4 was pretty good today. I woke up feeling fine. I had water immediately and did not have a tea today. I drank a lot more water than usual, 4 litres. I had some diarrhea tonight but that just means I am cleansing hard so that’s good. It happened once and that’s all. No headache today and my tongue is white. This morning I got a shock because I brushed my teeth and the tooth paste tasted horrible!! all things will taste bad for a couple of days. Hello again OK so I am off my nights now and day 3 has officially ended for this water fast. I had a rough time twice today with nausea, but they past quickly. Each time I sipped water slowly and went and had a pee. Immediately the nausea went away both times. Perhaps I need to drink more water. I feel good this evening and have noticed that pain in my knee has gone down a lot and I am slightly more flexible. Ok, so now I am caught up on here. Today is Day 3. I am on a night shift so this is technically the beginning of Day 3 so Ill blog again after this day is over. Already today I am feeling much better. My headache is gone and I feel somehow clearer in my mind. I have more energy and feel lighter in general. I noticed today that moving around is much easier. Day 2 was good with some stomach growling but I kept myself busy and every time it growled I sipped water. I also decided to use a suppository because I had stomach cramps and a headache which for me normally means I have to get rid of some waste. Once I did that, I felt much better. I had to pee a lot all day but I felt pretty good. I drank a few litres of water. I found that today I craved water more so I drank more. I did not have a tea today. On my first day, I worked so I packed a thermos of tea with no sugar and only a bit of cream because I have to have something to look forward to LOL. Then I packed 3 litres of water. I bought a water cooler and spring water so that I can have fresh cold water at home that tastes good. This helps me mentally to consume more water. Day 1 was a good day. I felt a bit weak at the end of the day but I sipped a glass of water slowly and went to bed. Day 1 - weight was 334 total loss so far is 8 pounds.   visit the page

The Week Before the WATER FAST
 
For one week before my fast I ate a pure Ketosis diet with no carbs at all and as much water as I could handle drinking. I started this process at 342 pounds. At the end of the 7 days, my weight was 336. I felt good and ready for my fast. I cut out all pop and juice and all fat. So no cheese, dairy etc. I just ate fish and chicken, green vegetables, and eggs. I did use salt and pepper.   visit the page
