Day 7
Day 7
Date: 9/29/2018 6:33:52 PM ( 6 y ) ... viewed 341 times DAY 7 has been great! I feel so much better than the last fast. I am not hungry and I have energy this time. I am using the bike for 30 minutes each morning now. I am drinking a big litre of water probably 5 times per day now. I have coffee in the morning that is black, or a tea occasionally with just a smidge of milk. It is too hard to cut those things out. I might go out and get herbal tea instead of tetley so I can cut the milk out. I am not craving food at all. In fact I can make supper for my teens and still walk away after without even tasting.
I am very motivated to lose weight as I have been heavy for years. I have gone up and down but never lost it all. This time, I am losing it all. I am tired of proving to everyone at work that I can do my job and knowing that people tend to think you are lazy when you are heavy. I am tired of looking in the mirror and seeing fat and I AM TIRED of people saying 'she is so pretty but on the heavy side"!!
I have done lots of research about long fasts and in many of the blogs I read, they often say that they can maintain the weight loss easier after a fast because you wipe out your cravings.
The other thing is that your skin bounces back even if you have 200 or more to lose through periodic fasting. I know this from my own experience as well. I have no marks at all on my legs or arms. My goal is 150 pounds through periodic fasting and keto diet. I will have to make a decision when it comes to day 30 as to whether I keep going to a 40 day fast or stop. If I feel good, I may keep going.
I drink water when I feel weak, which is not very much and when I feel ill, I use a suppository to rid my bowel of waste. This is immediate relief for nausea.
Anyway, this weight loss is for me this time, not a man, not my family, for me.
Ok so I weighed myself today and I weigh 306 with a total weight loss of 36 pounds in 22 days. Remember that only 15 of those days were of fasting though. I am losing 1 to 2 pounds per day!!
