Celebrity Dissent Supressed 18 y
As I and others continue to take the pulse of our political lanscape as it relates to freedom, I continue to find distressing signals. It is clear that dissent is being supressed by the powers that be in corporate/political America as the globalists move toward creating a police state (new world order).
This article speaks to a couple celebrities who are being harrassed for speaking out against the policies of the Bu$h regime. There are many, many more celebrities that are being chastized and harrassed for doing the same. I have blogged about this in the past. Another such celebrity that has been speaking out, while being met with resistance, is Harry Belafonte. I will include more on him as more becomes available.
Will you stand up and take notice of the new nazi-like machine that is sweeping North America (World)?
Celebrity castigations a microcosm of the broader attack on freedom
Steve Watson | February 28 2006
There
has recently been a spate of reports concerning the castigation and
investigation of various celebrities who have voiced a political
opinion that is critical of the government, the ”war on terror” or the
war in Iraq.
This is a
dangerous indication that our society as whole is systematically being
deprived of freedom of speech and being coerced into a mindset that
says those who question their government are traitors.
We
undoubtedly live in a celebrity obsessed ... read more

Not that George W. Bush needs much encouragement, but Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales a new target for the administration’s domestic operations -- Fifth Columnists, supposedly disloyal Americans who sympathize and collaborate with the enemy.
”The administration has not only the right, but the duty, in my opinion, to pursue Fifth Column movements,” Graham, R-S.C., told Gonzales during Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on Feb. 6.

Bush Tags Bloggers As Terrorists
Patriot Daily | February 13 2006
Homeland Security completed its “Cyber Storm” wargame to test how our government “would respond to devastating attacks over the Internet from anti-globalization activists, underground hackers and bloggers.” Given that homeland security ran the “wargame,” one may infer that the nature of the attacks by bloggers must be national security related. And, given that the major national security fear of our government is terrorists, then it looks like bloggers have made our government’s hit list of potential terrorists. But, w ... read more
