Courageous Quote 18 y
Bringing the circle together.
Life on the Earth can sometimes be very complicated. Sometimes we think
we are alone in our problems. Sometime we even withdraw. Then the
problems become even more difficult. We need to watch out for one another,
to care for one another, to pray together, to encourage one another; and
we need to support one another. Behaving in this manner will bring the
circle together.

Hippity Hop 18 y
Waht we tell ourselves steers the ship.
Encouraging Words
A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them fell
into a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When
they saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as
good as dead. The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up
out of the pit with all of their might. The other frogs kept telling them
to stop, that there was no way they could get out.
Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying
and gave up. He fell down and died. The other frog continued to jump as
hard ... read more
Possibilities 18 y
Openess is a great spiritual attribute. As a great freind says....transcend your "stuckness." lol
Open to Possibilities
”Become a possibilitarian. No matter how dark things seem to be or
actually are, raise your sights and see possibilities -- always see them,
for they’re always there.”
-- Dr. Norman Vincent Peale
”One of the saddest lines in the world is, ’Oh come now - be
realistic.’ The best parts of this world were not fashioned by those who were
realistic. They were fashioned by those who dared to look hard at their
wishes and gave them horses to ride.”
-- Richard Nelson Bolles
”The world would have you agree with its dismal dream of limitation.
But the light ... read more
From Blossoms 18 y
This poem touched me today. Thought I'd share it with you.
From Blossoms
From blossoms comes
this brown paper bag of peaches
we bought from the joy
at the bend in the road where we turned toward
signs painted Peaches.
From laden boughs, from hands,
from sweet fellowship in the bins,
comes nectar at the roadside, succulent
peaches we devour, dusty skin and all,
comes the familiar dust of summer, dust we eat.
O, to take what we love inside,
to carry within us an orchard, to eat
not only the skin, but the shade,
not only the sugar, but the days, to hold
the fruit in our hands, adore it, then bite into
the round jubilance of peac ... read more
Consciousness 18 y
Nice definition for consciousness.
Consciousness is not just some by-product of the human brain mass.
Consciousness is all pervasive. It is in everything and is everywhere. Your
individual human consciousness exists within and is a part of a
universal consciousness...

Thought Coherency 18 y
Coherency is focused harmony.
Every thought you think is an opportunity to move your world forward.
Thousands of times each day, you can put the power of your thoughts to
work toward whatever purpose you choose. Thoughts require negligible
effort. What they really need is direction.
When every thought is pointed in the same direction, your life will
unquestionably go in that direction. On their own, your thoughts have no
power, yet every action you take is directed by thought. When your
thoughts are disciplined and focused, your actions will be also. The power
of thought is in what that thought causes to happen ... read more
Great Spirit Prayer 18 y
Yes we are all one.
Great Spirit,
give us hearts to understand;
Never to take from creation’s beauty more than we give;
Never to destroy wantonly for the furtherance of greed;
Never to deny to give our hands for the building of earth’s beauty;
Never to take from her what we cannot use.
Give us hearts to understand
That to destroy earth’s music is to create confusion;
That to wreck her appearance is to blind us to beauty;
That to callously pollute her fragrance is to make a house of stench;
That as we care for her she will care for us.
We have forgotten who we are.
We have sought only our own secur ... read more
Listening 18 y
A tip on the power of listening
Listening:
There’s an old saying: ”God gave us two ears and one
mouth”, meaning we should listen twice as much as we talk. Do you know how to
listen? Of course! Easy! Well, here’s a useful technique anyway called
”Active Listening”: You give someone (lover, partner, friend, child) an
opportunity to talk and you promise you will not interrupt. When they
have completely finished, you rephrase what they said (what you heard)
and you both clarify and understand their position. Then it’s your turn.
This is listening, This is understanding.

Window of Sickness 18 y
"The sick body is the window that opens to the sick mind"
Ken Wapnick:
”By denying a person’s experience of a physical or
psychological problem, we deny them the only hope for change - the power of
their minds. The sick body is the window that opens to the sick mind,
offering another choice again. Kindness facilitates this choice:
judgment prevents it.”

Negative Emotion 18 y
Negative emotions equate to unhappiness.
Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth:
”What is a negative emotion? An emotion
that is toxic to the body and interferes with its balance and
harmonious functioning. Fear, anxiety, anger, bearing a grudge, sadness, hatred
or intense dislike, jealousy, envy - all disrupt the energy flow
through the body, affect the heart, the immune system, digestion, production
of hormones, and so on...An emotion that does harm to the body also
infect the people you come into contact with and indirectly, through a
process of chain reaction, countless others you never meet. There is a
generic term for all ne ... read more
Pain = Misunderstanding 18 y
"Suffering means there is something we do not understand."
ALL PAIN IS THE RESULT OF MISUNDERSTANDING
Suffering means there is something we do not understand. A full
understanding heals all of the needs that result in pain, and allows us
to move through the resistance that pain is. It helps us realise the
love and bonding that is present. Wherever we have stopped, and refused
to go on is an area of pain, fear, and unmet needs. Understanding allows
the process to unfold, the fear to be overcome by willingness,
connection and love, and the needs met so that we are naturally in rapport with
the people around us.
Today, go into rapport wi ... read more
Finish Strong 18 y
"The doubts and challenges along the way can either drain your
enthusiasm and commitment, or they can prompt you to grow stronger."
Finish strong
When the challenges become more difficult, that’s your opportunity to
become more determined. When the end of the race is near, the winner is
the person who picks up the pace.
It’s easy and common to start out strong. Real achievement comes to
those who can also finish strong.
The doubts and challenges along the way can either drain your
enthusiasm and commitment, or they can prompt you to grow stronger. When you
choose to grow stronger, not only do you reach the goal, you also become
more confident and effective in the process.
When you’ve gone this far, it p ... read more
Inner Child Meditation 18 y
Bring back the innocence, the playfulness, the clarity of your inner child.
Treasures From Our Past
Inner Child Meditation
Deep within each of us lives the child we once were.
For most of us, our inner child lies hidden beneath the layers that
we’ve put on in order to become adults. In our rush to put on grown-up
clothing and live adult lives, we may have forgotten the wisdom and
innocence that we possessed when we were children. In meditation, we can
connect with our inner child and reclaim what we have forgotten.
You can start by finding a photo of yourself as a
child that you can look at for a few moments. School photos often work
well to help ... read more

Universal Support 18 y

How it is the Universe Totally Supports You

This is a channeled article from my ’wider self’, which refers to
itself in the plural. They use the term ’God’ in this article; please
substitute your own preferred term such as ’All That Is’, ’The Source’, or
’the Tao’.
The point of being where you consciously feel the total support that
the universe is always showing you is manifest at the juncture of being
where you are stood fully in your Self. It is to know that you are the
master of your reality. It is to act from the heart to express All That

Courage to Change 18 y
Part og getting clear is replacing bad habits with better ones (coherency).
The Courage to Make Changes
I had a wise teacher many years ago. He said that you can’t really
change old habits, but you can replace them with new habits. It was a
psychological fact that he had learned.
He was one of my tuba teachers and was a true genius. He incorporated
that information into his teaching technique and created exercises away
from the instrument, away from all previous habits and associations.
The bad habits didn’t enter in to the exercises and were gradually
replaced by a new set of behaviors. Then when you went back to the
instrument you had a new set ... read more
