Day 1 recap. 10 y
I had a fruit breakfast (apple, orange and grapes) then a glass of water with psyllium at 8am.
9am hot water with lemon.
10am coconut water - I got more than 24oz out of each coconut (!) so I froze some of the water, along with the soft white flesh which I’ll use (maybe cultured?) after I finish this fast.
Then I made about 30oz beet, carrot, cabbage and green apple juice. Mostly cabbage and carrot. My main juicer is an Oscar twin gear and the juice seems to last well in the fridge.
Anyway, I had one glass every 2 hours from midday. Also several glasses of spring water.

Starting tomorrow -- October 1st. 10 y
..Well it'll be October in my part of the world anyway.
It’s Spring here and still quite cool at both ends of the day. I’ve decided to make some vegetable broth to use as a satisfying hot drink to supplement my juice. I’ll also be drinking lemon squeezed into hot water - my lemon tree has a really good crop right now.
So anyway, today I’m making the vege broth. I’ve got rutabagas, onions, and celery simmering with two liters of spring water, a few whole black peppercorns and some lemon thyme. When it’s turned golden and the onion smell has turned from ”harsh” to sweet I’ll call it ready :)

Start Day Minus Two. A juicing plan. 10 y
Plan, part 1.
OK, so I’ve blown the dust off the juicer, washed it and cleaned the fridge!
So :) I’m ready for Saturday’s big vegetable shop, and that afternoon - October 1st - will be the start of my juice fast.
I’m aiming to juice ten days to two weeks. And I’ll be using psyllium hulls as a bowel cleanse at the same time. Usually I hit a ”detox crisis” six or seven days into a juice fast and after that it gets easier again.
So, yeah. I’ve done juice fasts of between four and twenty eight days before. That (the juicing) part of what I’m doing is no big deal.
