Back on January 11th, 1987, I fell into a diabetic coma of 1,200 count. So I was diagnosed as a diabetic person for the first time in my life. I turned 49 years old back on February 1st. Anyway, I was told by the doctors at the hospital that I would have to take insulin of both kinds, regular and NPH, twice a day for the rest of my life.

Grand Rapids Chartered Bus to BAYSIDE
The 2005 chartered bus trips to Our Lady of the Roses Shrine are as follows:
35th Anniversary of Our Lady’s Apparitions at Bayside
The bus will leave Grand Rapids at 4:00 p.m. the day before the vigil. We will be in Lansing about 5:15 p.m. and Detroit at 7:30 p.m. Those who board the bus in Detroit or Ohio should have already eaten their supper. We suggest you take a pillow and a blanket because we will spend the night on the bus. Stops will be made along the way for meals and rest areas. The Bayside Prayer Vigil is from 7:30pm to 10:30pm.

A few weeks ago, while praying the rosary I had used that night, I noticed the medal of Our Blessed Lady as well as the chain connecting all the beads and the discs surrounding the Our Father had turned to gold. (The crucifix did not).

Dear Servants of Our Lady of the Roses, and Veronica Lueken,
In June of this year ’91 I became ill with a throat, bronchial and lung infection. I have a previous history of tuberculosis since 1943 and was afraid that my healed scar tissue broke down and my T.B. had returned.
I prayed to Our Lady and touched my throat and lungs with the blessed rose petal that She would prevent my T.B. from returning. All my tests came back negative (no T.B.) and I thank Our Lady for granting me that wish and protecting me.
