Dear Workers of Our Lady,
One of our new members went to the Shrine with us October 31st. It was his first time. He has been a heavy smoker for 35 years and unable to break the habit.
Since returning from the Shrine he hasn’t had a smoke, and has no desire to smoke. He said he didn’t ask Our Blessed Mother for that grace. Of course, She knew how he wished to break the habit.

I am now over 60, unbaptized, and have never been a member of any church. I was at one time an atheist. Practiced occultism to a certain degree. I thought I would write and let you know that my son is now clean of drugs and is trying really hard to put his life back in order. He carries one of the petals that you sent me and I am teaching him how to pray. He had really given up on this world. I am so happy to have my son back. In 1976 I took a five-hour glucose tolerance test and the results indicated a pre-diabetic condition and sever hypoglycemia.

Dear Veronica,
I too have a testimonial for Bayside. As a complete skeptic I reluctantly accompanied my wife to a vigil on May 14th, 1977.
That night was extremely cold for the middle of May. It was so cold that I gave my wife my coat along with a blanket.
We brought a gallon of water along to be blessed just in case all of this was true.

Our family had a blessing on Easter, the father, after 23 years went to confession with the two teenage sons and now Mass and Communion every Sunday.
