USDA and industry try to sneak banned conventional ingredients into organic beer, sausage, and processed foods. USDA allows 38 toxic ingredients to be labeled "organic".
The USDA’s controversial
proposal will result in some of the following:
Sausages, brats, and breakfast links labeled as ”USDA Organic” will be allowed
to contain intestines from factory farmed animals raised on chemically grown
feed, synthetic hormones, slaughterhouse waste, and antibiotics.
Anheuser
Busch will be allowed to sell its ”Organic Wild Hops Beer” without using any
organic hops at all. They would be allowed to use hops grown with insecticides
