So how are you feeling now? Have they verified that it was the IUD? Do you thinky our degenarative disease is due to the mirena? I am your same age and have been suffering the same problems you have. As an avid runner, I have been unable to run for the last three months. I actually have trouble walking to the coffee shop now without my lower back and hip aching. I am also having trouble sleeping. I too have an MRI and they said I am showing severe bone loss and am testing me for rhuematism as that is one of the side effects. Sounds like we have a law suit on our hands.
