Hi, I was just wondering how you are doing after you had your Mirena removed?
I had mine inserted only 2 months ago and I am still bleeding...but they say it can last up to 3 months..so I'm willing to give it a little more time. The bleeding only stopped for 2 days before and after my 'normal' period (which was HEAVIER than usual...)
Reading all about the posts here I realized that I had these excruciating knee pains (only in the right knee) last week that I never, ever had before! I woke up from it - it was so bad. I also noticed joint pain in my big toe on my left foot, which I attributed to hiking in the wrong shoes..and then some 'arthritis-like' joint pain in my hands...so I'm wondering may that be caused by the Mirena device?? Also I noticed that I'm extremely tired and when my doctor asked me after my 6 week check-up if it works I almost laughed since my sex-drive is below zero since I had that thing inserted..I had problems with acne before when taking hormones so I'm waiting to see what happens - until now it got a little bit worse but better now.
Anybody with similar symptoms that didn't get worse or dissapeared? Or does it always have to get worse?
