Blog: Master Cleanse for Mind and Body
For the past week I have passed more mucous and bowel sludge then ever before. It seems like I must run out of it at some point. Sometimes it is almost solid and others it is goopy and gross. While I'm very glad to have it leaving the premises so to speak, the emotional roller coaster ride it seems to be taking me on is almost more than I can handle.
All the same, I'm continuing to increase my cayenne as well as using lax tea at night, SWF in the morning followed by a second lax tea. I'm considering getting some Oxy-Powder but don't know much about the product yet. Do I have to buy it online (don't want to wait that long). Perhaps it will speed up the process for my funk eviction.
On a total different topic, Zoebess reminds me of a friend (and advocacy mentor) that I haven't seen in quite awhile. Today my daughter came home and had a trumpet lesson near where this person lives. I decided to stop by and leave a note on her door to say hi.
Luckily she was home and we had a wonderful chat. She couldn't believe how much my girls have grown (it's been a couple of years since she saw them). Seeing her was just what the doctor ordered. She is such a gentle loving spirit. Even when we talk about nothing her energy rubs off on me.
I'm very glad to be MCing right now,
Peanut

Hi Peanut,
I too am wondering about the Oxy-Powder. I saw a post on the forum referring to it. I have four bottles, and yes you need to purchase it on line. Perhaps Zoe will weigh in on this issue. I'd like to know what she thinks about this. Question. Is the second lax tea in the morning making a noticeable difference? Anyway, it sounds as if you are doing well.
Peace,
Seunim

I think the late morning tea is doing more than the night one. Once I start to feel it kicking in, I try to take a couple of minutes to run (around my office building) or jump rope (in the warehouse) or do some squats and lunges. That may be helping the effects. Breathing is also a focus at that time each afternoon. I'm not sure if the tea or the bouncing around is helping but I'm sticking with it. I'm trying my best to drink tons of water as well (in case the 2nd tea is drying me out). I'll keep you posted.
Are you using the Oxy-Powder yet? I would love to know if it helps. Too bad this is your first MC because it would be great to have a baseline to judge it against. I wonder if it's worth purchasing some since I'm almost half way through. It would be disappointing not to get it in time to make a difference. What do you think?
Thanks,
Peanut

I used the Oxy-powder for two weeks leading up to the MC, and believe me, that stuff works. It's a heck of a lot easier to take then the SWF as well. I'm just wondering what Zoe's take on this would be. Hopefully she'll see this. I might give the Oxy-powder a try on days 11-15. I'm going to stay with the original protocol for the first 10 days.

You would not be the first to do it. Others have used Oxy-powder & other products like Triphala. In my research online, different programs add a number of different things. Mostly, with your history of limited BM's, you would do well to give your bowels a good cleansing. It will not hurt you.
What I think is important is not to overburden the detox organs...liver, kidneys, skin...with too much die-off. That is why I would just put Oregano Oil in my bath and did not ingest it...so I would not have to deal with more than the cayenne loosened since it excavates pockets of funk and parasites and such. In between cleanses is a good time to do other cleanses but the oxy-powder is part of a bowel cleansing protocol and so is the Master Cleanse...
I had success also, switching back and forth, between the tea and SWF. I would follow my intuition for an optimal experience!

Thanks Zoe,
I think I'll leave the Oxy on the sidelines for now and alternate the lax tea and SWF. That was actually what I was thinking of doing today.
Peace

ggg...you act like this is your *last* Master Cleanse! You can always experiment with shorter cleanses and Oxy-powder. It was on my shorter cleanses that I deviated and found things to do which were effective and *fit* for me, like the different teas and essential oils.
Something I did after my last cleanse which I would do again if I did not have to go so far (4 hours) was an Ion Cleanse...here are a couple of informative links. I really felt a major difference. I may see if I can find someone with a unit closer. It was the same price as a colonic and I could really tell a difference....

I think there is room for experimentation with the cleanse just as there is room for improvment with the liver flush, for example, the addition of ginger and tumeric...(will try this out my next flush)...
Let the alchemy begin...ggg

- Yay Cayenne! by Zoebess

I doubt I will give up using the lemonade as a cayenne delivery system. All I need to do is remind myself of the benefits of that stuff...and God bless Detour for taking the plunge and sharing his observations with us. I would never have imagined but like you the sludge rolled out my bum after amping the pepper up!!

Keep up the great work~~~!

It is a great reinforcement of why I'm MCing. I feel cleaner and healthier just knowing that gunk isn't in me. Did you ever have it slow down or stop? Can we ever actually get our colons completely clean? It seems impossible.
Just a thought,
Peanut

I know its a never-ending process until we leave our bodies permanently...ggg
I am probably not a good example of normal but I can share that when I was dealing with colon cancer, my naturopath told me it would take 7 years to get my body on track again. Part of me wonders if it would have taken less time if she had said 5 years or so, but I was super diligent in doing everything she told me to do and *more* and somewhere in the 7th year everything clicked into place. I could feel the shift and see it in my body's bowel habits. Now I go for maintenance and a good mind-body relationship with myself. I "take care" of myself in most of the sense of the word, and all of the sense of the word in that I *own* all my choices, some which could have been better.
Along the way, it is the daily moments of joy and wonder that reinforce that life is precious and that if we choose to see the world as loving and giving, we can manifest that in our lives. If we choose to see it as a struggle, we will manifest that. As time goes by and you feel your body is working optimally, then there will be the inner landscape to scale and contemplate. No grand arrivals...always the inhale and exhale and the stepping forward into our futures....
I feel much more comfortable enjoying life too knowing I have educated myself on how to do cleansing and continue to do so. One of my goals is to never be in a hospital except as a visitor perhaps. I never intend to collect prescription bottles or worry that my body will betray me in any way. The Master Cleanse, parasite cleansing, liver flushing, all that and more will be a part of my dance.
It feels good especially to be a part of my own healing *team*...and over time, your self-talk will reflect your own goals to maintain the greater levels of health and mental well-being...
Enjoy the journey!

blessings,
Zoe
