Haze...Some quest. please

Flexion/Distraction- is that good for herniated discs in the neck? I thought it was for lower back.

My massage therapist says that I need to strengthen the mid back (scapula). He said once that is stronger my neck muscles wont have as much work and won't contract so much.

He said I am extremely tight in upper back and neck. And that it needs ultimately to be stretched to help the muscles stop contracting.

At work, I even have to lie down for 15- 20 minutes because sometimes my muscles ache.

Its amazing I tried to do a simple stretch move on the floor (touching my toes with hands seated position) and it pulled on my neck muscle instantly and tightened up (right after the massage!)

Thanks for the advice. I am hopeful I will heal but admit to getting worried (Ok on some occasions VERY scared) that I feel this way at 10 weeks.
