Angular chelitis and peeling lips: It was SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) allergy!

I also had angular chelitis and extremely chapped, cracked, peeling lips for many, many years. Like you, I tried just about everything, with no luck until recently.

I have switched to ALL natural skin care (no chemicals of any kind), which helped my skin in general, but the step that finally cleared up my lips was when I totally eliminated Sodium Lauryl Sulfate from my life, including switching to SLS-free toothpaste, mouthwash, and all skin care products.

It took a month or so after the change, but now my lips are totally normal and soft for the first time in years, and the angular chelitis is gone as well. And they have been clear not just for a day or two, but for more than a month. I really think this is finally the permanent cure for me.
