I had the same pulsating whooshing sound in my left ear when I had the Mirena. My husband could hear it when he put his ear against mine. Of course the doctor was baffled. It eventually disappeared on its own although I later developed ringing in both ears. So sorry - I know how irritating it can be. So glad you're getting the Mirena removed. Tweet
