Pulsatile tinnitus~Pseudotumor cerebri~Mirena

I've had Mirena for over 2 years now. I have been suffering with pulsatile tinnitus since March of 2011. I woke up with it one morning with a loud hearbeat whooshing sound in my left ear. I have been to so many doctors, my primary, and ENT, a neurosurgeon and a neuroradiologist. I have had and MRI, MRA, MRV, CT scan, and a cerebral angiogram. I have narrowing of the transverse sinues and there is an area around my pituitary gland called an empty cella, with is a large empty space, which should not be there in someone of my age.(36) The doctor told me that the space by the gland is hormonolly caused and asked me if I took birth control. I replied, of course with "No, but I have Mirena." He thinks I might have Pseudotumor Cerebri, otherwise known as Increased Intercranial Hypertension (spinal fluid is high pressure in brain) The heartbeat sound is so loud I can't hear myself think. My appointment to have Mirena removed is tomorrow. I truly feel that it has something to do with my symptoms. I will also add that my gallbladder had to be removed 6 months after I got Mirena. I have very bad Acne now, I gained 20 pounds and can't seem to shake it, and I have no libido whatsoever. I could care less if I have sex ever again...it is awful. I am concerned about the possibility of increased pressure in my brain. I am going to wait a few weeks post removal before moving on to the next test , which would be a lumbar puncture (spinal tap). I don't really want to go through that if I don't have to. The cerebral angiogram was bad enough. Can anyone else out there please tell me if you have had any of these symptoms, as I have googled a little on it and came up with quite a few links between Mirena and Pseudotumor Cerebri. Thanks! :)
