Re: Treating EC with Biologic Therapy/Injections

Hi, that may have been me who was discussing Biological treatments(Taltz) in the past. There are several biological treatments which in my opinion would be worth trying. Its encouraging that your dermatologist is willing to try these kinds of treatments! I would presume you would be the first to try this form of approach. I have tried several Psoriasis treatments but with no success although most have been older generation medication so its exciting to see if your lips show signs of improvement. I presume your dermatologist is also aware of the possible anti-inflammatory processes this medication can have on the body/skin! Anyways good luck to you, please keep the forum updated! I will start checking more often now to see if this treatment is beneficial. I do have one question which is during your treatment what did your dermatologist recommend to put on the lips? or have they instructed you to leave them alone and stop peeling?

So you are aware I tried Dupixent for a period of 5-6 months with no improvements which was unfortunate! Im still positive about my future and will continue to pursue new cutting edge treatments which I believe are worth trying!

While im replying a quick hello to everyone! I hope everyone has been doing good and living as best they can! The years continue to roll on but life has also been busy for me which is positive! Still strongly believe one day there will be a successful treatment and I will be able to stop "Managing" my condition.
