Twelve Archtypal Perspectives On Wellness
A 'Son of Truth' search starting with the astrological
Date: 10/26/2014 8:54:04 AM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 1454 times I'm posting the following at this blog rather than at "Chef Jemichel"[1] as I think this subject matter lies more in the vein of a "search for truth" that can be supported through esoteric systems (like astrology) rather than a more conventionally familiar approach to wellness via nutrition and the like (as I typically feature at my Chef Jemichel blog).
I have an idea of identifying twelve perspectives on wellness via the 12 astrological houses and/or the zodiac signs.
(I am inspired by Jen Matthews', ND list of 10 "topics":
1) Nutrition
2) Fitness
3) Financial
4) Mental/Emotional
5) Environmental
6) Parenting
7) Relationships
8) De-cluttering
9) Organization
10) Healthy Pets)
I am reasonably certain that there are wellness characteristics throughout out all of the astrological signs and possibly through the houses as well.
I am transiting through my first house now so I'm starting here:
1st House:
"The Body: In Vedic astrology, the 1st house is considered the major house when it comes to all things concerning the body, including health and longevity (although the 6th is also health to them, and the 8th is also longevity). Does the 1st house have the same 'body' connotations in Western astrology? I think it does for the most part, though perhaps not as much as in the Vedic system. The 6th and 2nd houses are also body-oriented in western astrology."[2]

To the above list of topics I'd add 11) Freedom! Freedom firstly being freedom from external government - the freedom Americans gained through the Revolutionary War of Independence.
"The 'free inhabitants' in America are those individuals who retain the exact same freedom that the American people had at the conclusion of the war of independence. 'The Constitution of September 17, 1787' did not convert the 'free' status to any other status automatically subject to external government! 'The Constitution of September 17, 1787' did not abolish the 'Articles of Confederation (1777)' as there is no authority given by the people to abolish the union and its written Organic Law with all that it stands for - most importantly the freedom that required a war to fully reject external government."[3]
