I have been too much with hanging out in the stresses of very difficult things. Had nightmares this morning about the need to clear my desk. I got to some of that.
Then, I started to perseverate about a difficult rental situation at home. A really good man is having a hard time, and I do not have reserves to carry him. I am already borrowing from different accounts to make due with a large tax bill. I have not been collecting enough, and there seems to be a shortage.
I stopped last week to see what was really going on. Everything is hitting at once.
I am also 19 days before the Natural Product Expo West. That is the beginning of my season.
My immune system has been done for close to three months with various symptoms of colds and some flu-like symptoms. The stress is getting to my kidneys as well.
Toward the end of the day, I took a nap and did not feel like getting up. I wanted to plant some KAMUT ® in two pots. I have been soaking the ancient grain.
Jason and Chef Jem were in the basement when I went down to take some pictures of the Foundation Work. Jason is doing a tremendous job of shoring up the old structure and mending the cracks in our Foundation, and hopefully in our lives.
I stopped at a shelf of old books. I was surprised to find some classics. They gave me energy.
I found a copy of "The Joy of Living and How to Attain it" by Dr. Bernard Jensen. That was the first book I ever read of his. I may have already met him at that time. He gave me a copy of this book.
Then, I found a copy of Henry Lindlahr M.D.'s classic book "Nature Cure." I wonder if that book is on the internet. I am going to look. I put it back on the shelf, and then I could not see it again for ten minutes. That was a sign I had better bring it up.
I also find a book by Leon DeSeblo. I met him when he was 105. I visited him in Auburn at his home. He said some things about me that were worth remembering on a day when I am having difficult summoning the will to go on. He said I was a Master. He helped a lot of very important people in his life, and was friends with Yogananda, He also knew Franklin D. Roosevelt, I believe. The list was pretty impressive of those he knew. He had something to do with Houdini coming over to this country. He helped a lot of people but preferred to be out of the public light in his later years. He is younger days, he was one of the health crusader types who would go from city to city. I have a card from one of his talks.
The book by Leon De Seblo is called "Sickness and Senility are Unnecessary." 17 Complete Lessons on Supreme Law for Prolongation of Life and Universal Principles of Rejuvenation.
Rejuvenation. I would like to look back at this time, February 16, 2013, and know I have down that.
Nadine has been a very dear companion today. I have feeling really scared and frightened. I am not sure what the universe is asking of me.
The fourth book I brought up is called "Impaired Health", It's Cause and Cure by John H. Tilden M.D. I admire his work very much.
These were all men who were introduced to me by Dr. Bernard Jensen.
I am pulling on their energies now for strength at a time of m need.
FYI Health Research, Mokelumne Hill, CA reproduced the Tilden and Leon De Seblo books. I wonder if their archives are still around. This was a very valuable company that was in business during my early years with Dr. Bernard Jensen.
Going to check on Lindlahr.
I need to keep living. I need to come back to life.
