An inspiration to begin looking at how the Twelve Senses relate to the Nine Centers (and other aspects) in the Human Design system.

Have you heard of "the 12 senses"?[3]
Do you know the Nine Centers in Human Design?
I sense that these two paradigms can be correlated and can nourish one another to support health and healing.
I just found this interesting quote: "... if you cannot sense your own life or etheric forces, you can have no trust in your own ability to heal and repair ... No trust in your own body. This is very much a picture of our times."[3]
I feel inspired to see how much of the twelve senses can correlate with the nine centers in the Human Design System.

September 22, 2019 - Our Senses Are Intimately Entwined With The World, Making and Unmaking Reality -
“Perhaps our greatest folly is to forget that the world is not simply to be manipulated and consumed. Do we wonder what has happened to the world when we lose the ability to perceive it as part of ourselves, and not just an object outside our body? Once the world has been placed ‘over there’ so to speak, we also place the human body ‘over there’ as object. The world is more distant, but so is our own body, our very humanity. The senses are not just the foundation of our relationship to the world; they are intimately entwined with the world, making and unmaking reality. If we remain unconscious of the world that is given through our senses we may never be able to find the deeper meaning of why are here, what is our task, how we can help. At this point in time, the meaning of life can no longer be just what happens next. We must take hold of the fact that our senses themselves are what give us the ability to be human beings, and therefore to create a world. Then, perhaps, we can begin to consciously bring healing and balance back into the realm of the senses, and into the world.
… the senses we are most unfamiliar with, the higher or spiritual senses … are the senses of hearing, speech, concept and the ego. These senses are just beginning to manifest in us as senses.
The spiritual senses are less familiar, but we can recognize them. … The perception of language, human speech, as sense ability is a part of us and yet is not so recognized as a sense, We are also able to sense the activity of thinking in the other, of the presence of the individuality, the ‘I’ of the other. It is surprising to think that as we awaken to these senses, we will discover deep spiritual truths, including the nature of true community.
… inner knowing can awaken, and lead us to our humanity. The world will become a more sense-able place, for only through us can harmony and balance be restored, The path is through coming to our twelve senses.”[2]

September 23, 2019 - Sense of The Ego -
"... the sense of ego with which you observe the other's personality or individuality. This sense needs to be activated, because in practice - with people tending to be distracted by their own and others' habits and emotions - the sense of ego is barely used.
Steiner described the observation of someone's personality as follows. You spend some time observing the other, so that you have an impression of him. This impression imposes on your inner being, a feeling that resembles an assault. Your response is to retaliate, and you throw the other out of your inner being. This causes your aggression to diminish, so that you can allow the other in again. Attraction and repellence, sympathy and antipathy alternate.
What this means, is that if you want to get to know someone's personality, you must allow him into your inner being. But you can only tolerate this intrusion for a little while. Before long you need to have your inner being to yourself again, and so you throw the other out. This process can be repeated. The ego sense is used in various ways:
You can observe someone's individuality most directly in their eyes. The eyes give you an unfettered view of the other's ego. Unless you are in love with that person, you can only do this for a short while before you start feeling uncomfortable. When you look into someone's eyes and encounter them, something gets sent back to you. There is resistance as you have entered the other's private space. You cannot look into both of someone's eyes with your own two eyes, you have to look with alternate eyes. Generally, you will have a preference for one eye, as the other makes you feel uncertain. You will probably experience little trouble in looking children (up to about twelve years of age) in the eyes for a longer period of time, as their return gaze is a soft one. The same applies to the return gaze of animals. The difference between humans and animals can also be experienced in this way."[5]

Comment:
Appreciate reading the sense of ego which helps this blog-writer to understand and more fully accept a recent experience of another. This writer now realizes that the other "threw out an impression" that they had ascribed about my manner of approach to them.

"To the investigator of spiritual life this ether body is for him not merely a product of the materials and forces of the physical body, but a real independent entity that first calls forth into life these physical materials and forces."[4]
Can the etheric body be the "Design Crystal" that enters the sperm and that then penetrates the ovum for conception, as presented by Human Design and originally stated by Ra Uru Hu? If not the same then what is the relationship between the two.
This is one example of the potential correlation that I believe could by formed between Human Design and the Anthroposophical view of the Human Being.

I'm anticipating being introduced to a lady who is working toward becoming a Occupational Therapist. She says: "My dream is to integrate my love for nature and food based education along with an OT practice called sensory integration that helps children to regulate their nervous systems, primarily through play based activities that help to bring balance to the vestibular (inner ear), proprioceptive (awareness of body in space) and tactile system."
I was inspired to research proprioception and started searching "'spacial dynamics'proprioceptive" with one of the results titled: "Embryo in Motion or Man as Embryo between Heaven and Earth ...". The following includes the presenter and his connection with "proprioception".
Jaap van der Wal PhD (* 1947) is a medical doctor and currently works as senior teacher in Anatomy and Embryology at the University of Maastricht, Holland. After his medical education in 1973 he became specialized in the functional anatomy and development of the locomotor apparatus in particular regarding proprioception (i.e., the sense for the perception of locomotion and body position).[1]
My intention was to find an official "Spacial Dynamic" article and given all the search results that I have (resulting with the above search terms) I could possibly pursue that!
