Returning to my direct connection
to Mother Earth. It is essential for me.

Today is Valentine’s Day
and also in the Jewish Mystical Tradition--
The Birthday of the Trees, called Tubishvat
I went to the garden yesterday for the first time
in many months. I started to trim back the Job’s tears,
cutting away dead branches.
I want to rekindle my direct connect with
Mother Earth as a Source of my Higher Power--
or rather ”inspired” power.
I have been putting too much pressure on
a woman to be my connection with this source.

Inner Lover
Between the Clutter of voices,
reverbing through the night
so constant I have to ask
is there no quiet,
I wonder, who it is I am.
On the beach, the bathers sit,
arching themselves in sand and water.
Even the seagulls have their way
through the air they breathe in and out
and call their own.
Where is the silent passage to myself?

Valentine Party...
The Valentine Party I went to last night
was a birthday party for Teresa Ann Foxworthy
at the home of Devorah Susman.
I did not know too many of the people here,
a very health looking group.
There was some cheese that was not eaten.
Lots people very conscious of what they were eating
and who do lots of spiritual growth.
There was a procession of Goddesses
and a belly dancing.
They we moved into a room where there was a spiral
stairchase.

having the women all repeat the words.

My heart is filled with discomfort that last numbers of
hours. So how long does this last?
How am I going to find the strength to go for my
dreams?
Booked my room for the Natural Product Expo West.
I would like to get the Organic Trade Association
to pay for some of this. I am their photographer
for the annual foundraiser.
Last year, I misplaced my camera two days before
this assignment, and went out and bought a new Olympus.

Set out to do some gardening
to re-establish my relationship with the earth.
A man unexpectedly arrived who wanted
to know things about the community for a disseration.
He had called me before but I had not responded.
I spoke with him for an hour, and as we was leaving
I felt the deepest emptiness and desire to call
my closest friend. I have been wanting to get a handle
on more balance in that relationship.
I am going to do some gardening to see how I can
regroup with my Love affair with the Mother Earth.

I just was reading
my astrological report for today
in my Planetary Guide for the year....
It’s the full moon and a time to shine
for this Scorpio.
I am going to meet with a publisher for an hour
thanks to a new friend
and then go up to a Valentine party in Encinitas
where I plan on reading some of The Seven Love

I left home and went right to the Mail Boxes
a few blocks from home. Jordan saw me coming into the store
and said hello from a distance. Vanessa, my closest female friend
there, was working too, and always calls me ”Honey”
or some other very sweet thing.
We all should have relationships with our local stores that are like this.
I wanted to get to the Leif’s home in La Jolla overlooking
the Facific Ocean. The house is one of the most beautiful
that I frequent from time to time when they have Jewish Renewal
services here.

standing here behind the counter at Mail Boxes
my friends that allow we get download photos and laminate
here while mine is out of service.
My heard is filled with heaviness of many changes
and I just laminated 9 copies of ”Soul Mates.”
Heading for La Jolla to catch the tail end of a Jewish Renewal service
and meetng up some some out of town friends later.
I hear voices of people who seem happy around me
saying good morning.
I am hiding my feelings.
I am not sure others would want to see them.

is not working...
Beat myself up yesterday
for not being able to update
my ad for a new housemate.
Still feeling feelings about
two of the best housemates
I have had moving out.
There is another couple who may be interested.
The woman is coming over at 3.
I need to hold my ground.
This is not a time to succumb to taking in a rental
that is not appropriate.
This is a time to do deeper

More things have been coming at me that I can handle
and all at once.
I was feeling anxiety about the calling out for
changes at the house regarding my co-partner
wanting money out.
What would I do?
I am not into leaving my home.
I am not into having all the anxiety I am feeling
inside myself. IT is interfering with my capacity
to move along my other Life Giving Projects.
There is a deadline today for the loan that was offered
from the bank.

Here's a Healing Prayer...
Allow me to say "Yes" to my own Love...
I have been Blessed with a rare and special
gift in the last week.
A woman who moves me deeply
has withdrawn her physical affection.
The gift in this is that
I have chosen to make of this experience
an opportunity for Soul Growth
and moving on with my Dreams.
It is an incredible gift
when we allow ourselves to be
vulnerable to another person,
in a sense to allow them
to be dangerous to the stasis
that can overcome any of us.
In my feelings of discomfort
I went to my own bookshelf
and and pulled out
a book I wrote back in 1992
called ”Prayers to Mend the Heart.”

Just when things were as bad as they could get
emotionally yesterday,
and I was sitting in the EG Mobile
at sunset shaking,
and getting in touch with no will to go on,
they got worse.
At that point, issue #1 that I was fretting about
totally disappeared, as issue #2 became centerstage.
Early this morning, I was feeling a headache from
all cummulative impact of thinking and then reacting
internally to both issue #1 and #2.
Great a headache...
Suddenly, I started to think laterally.
