Haiti Colera Epidemic; FES is helping; Quinton Can too!
I was called into service yesterday at the Hillcrest Farmers’ Market to help the epidemic in Haiti. Shannon Oliver, a former year long apprentice at La Milpa Organic Farm, visited with me briefly. I hooked him up immediately via phone with Robert Slovak, principal with Original Quinton Marine Plasma. Quinton in the early part of the 20th Century helped thousands recover from cholera and water infection using this godsent remedy that helps me and my friends daily. I also hooked up Shannon with FES sponsors who are already in Haiti

Met a remarkable artist with a beautiful smile and soul today.
She had made mandalas.
I went out to the Ocean Beach Craft Faire today.
She was in the space right in front of me.
I asked here to make some art for me
on some of the Biosmart compostable containers
that I had there. I offered a few people the opportunity

The food safety bill being debated in Congress has ignited passions on both sides, but for Barbara Kowalcyk, it’s personal.
You may remember Kowalcyk as the mom-turn-activist in ”Food, Inc.,” a documentary on the food industry. Shortly after her son Kevin died of a food-borne illness, the Midwesterner flew to D.C. to lobby for stronger food safety laws.

I was up late night and saw and outstanding
presentation from Jack LaLanne on his Jower Juicer.
The infomerial was well dome and geared to
older folks. I like that.
The offer was two payments of $49.95 or so.
I like the large chute on this machine.’
The infomercial was talking about all the bad ingredients
in commercial juice products.
This juicer is easy to clean and the parts can go into
the dish washer.

Dianne Feinstein a letter asking her to stop blocking
the passing of #S-510. The bill was being slowed down
because she knew that BPA was unsafe and she thought
that through including an amendment to ban BPA
she could get this Food Safety issue handled.
Member of Congress, John Dingell, who was
more invested in the passage of a Food Safety
law that helping getting babies out of harm's way,
asked Senator Feinstein to basically stop pushing
for BPA to be banned. Her speech was one of the
most truth telling of any I heard on C-SPAN-2
during the #S-510 proceedings.

I have been watching
the progress of #S-510 for numbers of month.
I believe this bill is having difficulty coming into
law because it is basically against the law of nature.
There is something that wants to live now in our lives.
It is our Soul. It is the Soul of America.
The Soul of America is like a little Seed that
has been trampled down, but it is time,
for the sake of our future, that the Seed of America rise
up through each of our Seeds.
