There are a few people talking about Healing Touch
in the kitchen.
The name of Barbara Clark came up
as well as Inductive Healing.
I have not thought of Charlie Beeman who
I believe was one of the founders of this school.
Here is a paragraph about the
San Diego Inductive Healing Center.
I knew Charlie. He had some good ideas
about running a center.
Charlie Beeman was loving out to the desert
last I heard.
Charlie Beeman lived before the popular computer
internet age.
I do not see his name on the internet.
So if any one knows what happened to Charlie,
you can be in touch.
HERE IS A PARAGRAPH
OF NOTE

In the 1970s, I worked for San Diego County Medical Clinics as a reviewer of county funded programs. A flier came to the office regarding a community-based organization called San Diego Inductive Healing Center that was seeking county monies as part of their funding base. No one in the county office wanted to go to the Open House of the Inductive Healing Center to review it as a recipient for possible county monies because everyone thought it was foolish. I volunteered to go because, from the psychic research books that I had already read, the concept of Inductive Healing sounded very logical. Inductive Healing did not get funded by San Diego County as a participant in county monies, but I became a student at the Center. The study of Inductive Healing is the study of Chinese meridian points used to heal the body without the use of needles. The points on the meridians are activated or calmed by touching the points with one's hands and passing energy through the client's body. The energy used is spiritual energy. This form of healing work opened up my ability to see the physical body as a light field that can be scanned for variations in colors. The various colors of light in the body reveal varying states of wellness or pain. The dark spots in the body are often places where there has been surgery to remove an organ or where a cyst or tumor is forming.

MARY BURMEISTER
I believe Charlie Beemon studies with t
Mary Burmeister.

In the 1940s, Japanese-American Mary Burmeister went to Japan where she met Jin Shin Master Jiro Murai. He asked her if she would like to study with him and take a gift to America. She agreed and studied with Master Murai for several years before returning to America to teach. Upon Burmeister's return, Clark was introduced to this work.
Jin Shin Acutouch changed Barbara Clark's life. After using it to regain her own health, she began teaching the work to others. Now she offers several workshops and a full internship program each year at IPSB where she serves as the school's full-time director.
For more information about Jin Shin Acutouch, Barbara Clark can be reached at (619) 272-4142 at IPSB, 1366 Hornblend St., Pacific Beach, San Diego.
Shawn Riley, a veteran journalist, is studying within the 1,000-hour holistic health education program at the International Professional School of Bodywork. She has studied Jin Shin Acutouch with Barbara Clark and has incorporated the work successfully within her practice.

Jin Shin Jyutsu® physio-philosophy is an ancient art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. Born of innate wisdom and passed down from generation to generation by word of mouth, the Art had fallen into relative obscurity when it was dramatically revived in the early 1900's by Master Jiro Murai in Japan.
After clearing himself of a life-threatening illness, Master Murai devoted the rest of his life to the research and development of Jin Shin Jyutsu, gathering insight from a range of experiences and resources, including the Kojiki (Record of Ancient Things). The resulting knowledge of Jin Shin Jyutsu was then given to Mary Burmeister, who brought it to the United States in the 1950's.
Mary Burmeister began teaching the Art to others in the early 1960's, and today there are thousands of students throughout the United States and around the world.
